By that time humans would probably have eradicated themselves from the planet anyway.

If we do survive, assuming we dont evolve into a superior species there'll probably be a way to genetically engineer the 'faulty' genes.

I agree with exactly your first statement in the post above. The article itself is false science.

There was another thread recently about the mutating Y chromosome.

I commented that both wombs and penises can be made redundant any time soon.

And even if they didn't fabricate a womb, it seems to me that 125,000 years is long enough to figure out how to create an artificial Y chromosome. Heck, just start with a woman's X and remove part of it.
