“What more do you want of me”? Christ asked of his father.

“I’ve already died for them, for you.”

“What more do you need”?

“I taught all that was good about us, peace, acceptance, tollerance”.

“2000 years have passed and there’s no change”.

“The hate continues, the loss continues. How much more will it take to satisfy you”?

“I weep at what is happening”.

“Are you listening to me”?

“Have I not done enough”?

“What will be enough”?

“Father, there are those out there that don’t believe in me but they speak the same words I do”.

“Are they wrong”?

“Am I wrong”?

“What path have you put me on”?

“Are you listening to me? Are you listening to them”?

“They call you God and Allah. They call you Gnisha and Shiva. ARE YOU LISTENING TO YOUR CHILDREN”?

“I want to help, I’ve done what you haven’t. I’ve given my suffering and my life”.

“Listen to me father, you are needed now, not as a slogan, not as a way of life. You are needed as a direction..Your children are lost, be the shepherd you were. They need your guideance.”

“I can do no more”.

Intrepid, I'm not entirely sure you should have said that. Your probably going to offend some more people like you just offended me. First of all it was Christ that died for us not God. While technically they are the same being, it was Christ that came down here. If anything it would have been the other way around but it wouldn't happen either way. Also God is leading His flock as He was 2000 years ago and will continue to lead His flock in the same way until the end times(which will be a very bad time for Christans).

I forgive you, and I figured you didn't mean too so no hard feelings.

I believe I am correct in believing Intrepid's intention is that this is a piece of Fiction. Therefore it is merely presented to entertain and not as a matter of Fact. Some will enjoy the fiction and some will not. After all, you never hear an athiest take offence that the bible exists as it is (without the belief in a factual story) just a story.

intrepid, I actually really enjoyed this story. I can see what you have tried to do and I think that you succeeded quite effectively. I can understand why some may have been offended, but when viewed as a work of fiction, (which is, doubtless, what this was intended to be) rather than as a statement of views, it is extremely well done.

Your writing is clearly of a very high standard.
