mildly painfull dreams

i recently had a dream a quite long one and vivid infact, well in this dream anyways to cut a long story short this beaver latched on to my body (it was a giant beaver) and i felt an intense pain on my scrotum(but i did not no were the pain was in my dream i just knew it was quite painfull somewere)and cant remember what happened after that but it was only after i woke up that i realized were the pain was ????? has and body had and similar expieriences of intense pain in a dream

I have had dreams of getting hurt and then waking up with the pain still there. I think it is the brains way of incorporating body pain into your dream. I woke up once with a muscle spasm in my back. I had been dreaming of riding my motorcycle and when I wrecked it in the dream I woke up with the pain in my back.

Yes i have experienced this,

My dream was that i was on a boat and fell over board,

Next thing this shark swam up to me and grabbed hold of my legs and i swear the pain i felt was major, i was also aware that i was dreaming and had to force my eyes open

yeh i was also aware i was dreaming but could not control it if you know what i mean but i have to force my eyes open
