NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Hundreds of anti-war protesters converged Thursday on the United Nations, where President George W. Bush was busy
addressing the U.N. General Assembly on taking action in Iraq.
The demonstration denounced Bush for considering military action against the regime of Saddam Hussein. Protesters carried signs and chanted messages
like "Let Iraq Live" and "No Blood for Oil" while standing in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, which is across the street from the U.N.
