Even Russian who prouds themselves of being an aernautical superpower copies US designs. Su-30 from the F-15 ACTIVE. SU-47 from the X-27 and X=31. So you see if even Russia copies, how does China who copies old designs from Russia is going to make such a leap?

Also bear in mind that the Black projects are 20 years ahead of regular planes.
A lot of people claim that the SR-71 and the stealth fighters/bombers are actually far more advanced and powerful than what the US gov publishes. And we haven't even begin to talk about the Aurora, the TR3 and all the rest of secrets that they hide.

yeah the famous black projects. blah blah blah dont know anything about them.. also a lot of countries might have black projects. china might have a black project or their own skunk works... no-ones know so you cant refer to them.

anyhow i already said that. when the chinese J-xx comes out their will probaly be a a newer version of the raptor because of how long future aircraft are going to serve for

Comparing what China makes now, they would have to skip a generation ahead.

haha.. those are very serious accusations.. Can you back them up with proof?
See we tend to "deny ignorance" on ATS here..
Anyways welcome to ATS..

One thing that most people don't realize is that when you design a plane for a certain mission, ie supersonic bomber, there are only so many designs that you can come up with for that mission. They're probably going to look similar to each other. Does this mean they're copies? No. Do they look very similar? Yes. There are only so many ways to make a design to do the same mission. If you want a supersonic bomber, you're not going to make a big fuselage, and big long wings like the B-52. You're going to build a thin fuselage, with either variable geometry wings, or swept back wings with everything possible under the fuselage to keep drag to a minimum.

Another "real" picture, made in West. China does not have experience to develop this. Their new fighter will be probably something like a bit more stealthy Su-27.
