Odd and Important Dates in the Military

I just glanced at my avatar - to the date that I registered here at ATS. What a cowinkydink.. I registered on Sept. 19, the same day (15 years ago) my Army unit landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That's weird.

What does that mean?

Have you ever heard of or known of coincidences of important dates in the military?

I don't have the info. on me at the moment, but I do know that Sept. 11 is, for some reason, a very common (coincidence-wise) date in world political history.
