It Will Soon be Impossible to Spot UFOs

I have long been of the opinion that most if not all UFO sightings are US X Craft...

In the coming years, all kinds of new spacecraft will be roaming the skies. Many of these are unfamiliar to us and will be reported as UFOs. Strange sightings will no longer be attributed to ball lightning, they'll be dismissed as UAVs, which are robot craft designed to look for criminal and terrorist activity. This means reports of "real" UFOs will be ignored more than ever.
Leonard David writes in space.com that Tom Ridge, who runs Homeland Security, wants to use UAVs to monitor U.S. borders "very seriously" and plans to work with the Department of Defense to build robot planes that can do the job.

Hmmm......sounds very much to me like this is the governments new plan to cover up UFO's. By filing the sky with "fake UFOS" (aircraft) like you said, they will have an easier time reputing any REAL claims. Makes you think they had this in mind......

I am very much apposed to any form of robot planes patrolling were I live. It may seem like a good Idea at first but it may later come back to haunt us. Skynet anyone? (Just kidding) But in all seriousness these robot planes will do more harm then good.

I think that there will always be rare events that cannot be explained away as UAVS or military craft, just as many UFO sightings from the past cannot be dismissed as rare aircraft.

If anything, I wonder if UFOs might start to become more 'obvious' at the point when legitimate sightings are being dismissed as UAVS? I mean, if your long-term mission is to acclamate a species to the idea of alien lifeforms before you reveal yourself to them... At the point where you're being ignored you might think about buzzing an air show now and then.

When the 'Origins' program becomes active and starts revealing nearby, lifesupporting planets... My guess is that the real story will come out of the bag.

I think this may be good and make it easier to spot real ufos. When your used to seeing flying craft in the sky you'll eventually easily spot them and see thee not ufos. Hopefully this will stop people from video taping a freezbie in the air in the park and thinking they just saw a ufo. These UAVs will make strange craft with impossible moves and unidentified shapes easier to spot, and will weed out the non UFOS

As far as I am aware there has been no evidence of this. It's seems they are studying us more then making us accustomed to their presence.

First, alien lifeforms have been on earth for thousands of thousands of years (see previous threads), and thus have had plenty of time to study humanity.

Second, beings in possession of the kind of technology they have would only allow themselves to be seen if they wanted to be seen.

Then why pray tell do they continue to corn hole our farmers aboard their ships? You know the abductions? What else could they possibly be for, just some sick practical joke?

I haven't got a clue as to what their real mission is... I only integrated that theory into my reply for the sake of argument... in the conjectural sense.

My guess, though, is that, if they're doing more than just studying us, they would make contact for the sake of trade/economics... Or, possibly, to gain (unequal) allies, in the same sense that mighty empires align with lesser nations so as to build spheres of influence and circumvent other empires (say, for instance, that the 'greys' are akin to the USA in the cold war, they'd be out to make third world allies (us) if they're competing with some other species).

In the coming years, the skies are going to be increasingly dotted with all types of uncanny aircraft. But interstellar travelers won't be piloting these vehicles.

What is likely to be zipping across your airspace are identified flying objects of the terrestrial kind. They are better known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and these robotic policing craft are loaded with high-tech sensors and other snooping gear.

I think the average person can tell if something is one of ours- especially if it has US AIR FORCE written on it.

That would be a dead giveaway, wouldn't it?

Except that often when you look at aircraft in the sky, they appear black and markings can't be distinguished.
