military salary

This is the rant section, so im gonna try the best i can.

If there is one thing that I appreciate and I believe the rest of our country should, regardless of their opinion, is the military. The point of this thread is explained in the subject. I believe the military's salary is greatly underpaid. Even as an officer you can recieve a substantial amount of money, but I think that the millions of dollars spent on ATHLETES is ridiculous. Entertainment is a very important part of this society, but when people get paid 250 million dollars (Alex Rodriguez) to PLAY a GAME, thats crossing the line. Instead of paying them millions and millions of dollars, we could use that money for our veterans, and to raise soldiers salaries.
