EVP and its workings

Last night I watched the film "white noise" that deals with the topic of EVP. It was an interesting show but as hollywood always does they take it too far and make it very unrealistic. Anyways it got me wondering if this is at all pratical number one and possible number 2. At the end of the film it said that for every one thousand documented cases 1-12 recordings are violent in nature. So what exactly are you recording? Spirts, demons? Or is it just a space/time anomaly that has been stuck? I am thinking of trying this. My house has a history of interesting events and I have recently lost my best friend. So any info would be great.

I was deeply interested in trying this in my home studio and using it in soundtracks or songs, but sheesh....I gotta sleep in this house too!

Personally im kind of skeptic of the description of the roadmap of existance, because the universe is theoretically infinite, why would/should we be limited to something so small in scope, and why arent we seeing a huge number of non human EVP contacts reported by EVP researchers? (If i was in such a state as to be able to explore the phsyical world at a whim i would be trying to find out about alien cultures and communicate with them and try setup a collaboration with earth)

All that side, im on the fence with EVP as far as belief goes, I will try to spend a month doing some tests in my parents old home once the tenant moves out (hopefully i have some time to mess around before someone else wants to move in). I can easily leave a webcam going with motition sensor, and an audio input,

Yes, the universe is theoretically infinite, it is not known for sure. But I find myself agreeing with you, if every living thing is bound for this "roadmap" how come there has never been any sort of contact between humans and aliens?

or unless as the road map says.. it mirrors our "reality" to some degree, so wed still have to "explore" to find the aliens and thats pretty hard to do with the vastness of reality.. theoretically so that could be the explanation?

But wouldn't these "rules" vary from galaxy to galaxy? Is it a possibility that other galaxies can be on a different page when it comes to forms of existance?
