Since you decided to do EVP, do it the rooms where you felt cold spots

Oh one more thing, when I was helping my parents move all their stuff out of the house (december 2003), on the very last day of it, for whatever reason

they had left the cat and some chairs to be picked up last.

I figured well my dad is next door talking with the neighboors im going to watch the cat and see what it does.

So i walk in the back door of the house the cat is sitting there on the couch 15 feet away from me.

Lets see if i can make a diagram :

XGXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXCXX
XGXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXMXX

G = Stairs going up to 2nd floor

M = me standing at back entrance watching cat

C = cat sitting on couch fast asleep

--------

Ok, now i started by walking in and slapping the cat with a pillow, it didnt wake up, hehe.

so i stepped back about 8 feet and waited, focusing on the area trying to feel something...

after about 5 minutes... the cat suddenly woke up as if it was goosed and stared directly at the stairs, and slowly brought its gaze towards me, at this

point i felt a presence, i couldnt see anything though. So I just spoke aloud something to the effect of "my dad is next door talking to the neighboors,

in a few minutes we will be taking the cat and some lawn chairs, and we wont be back to the house in months, we will visit from time to time, thanks for

not doing anything really bad to us, and please be nice to the new tenant."

(All through this the cat is fully alert watching)

After about 15 seconds the cat slowly brought its gaze towards the stairs and watched for a few more seconds, then went back to sleep. I stood there and waited for my dad nothing else strange happened, and I asked my parents today if the tenant has ever complained about anything in the house, she has not.

Anyways thats about it for the house I think, I will try and get some pictures of it, i could take some now but its been changed alot, we have a fair number of pictures of the inside and outside from when i was growing up there though, I just need to find a working scanner hehe.

Occaisonally my cats will do the exact same thing. Last night when I was researching on the computer and one of my older cats looked up at the window, and had a gaze on it for about 2 minutes+. I looked and up was nothing there. It get's pretty scary when it's 3 in the morning and you find yourself with the feeling that you are being watched.

Anyway, take pictures of rooms throughout the house, get the developed, and check for any lightorbs or strange displays of light.

I dont know if you noticed what I was saying in my earlier responses in this thread, but there is someone living in that house and it is not me. I cannot just walk in there with a camera and start taking pictures, a woman is living there and she has video surveillance etc, my interest in the paranormal does not outweigh her feeling secure as a tenant and my parents keeping her there until she wants to leave on her own. And add to the fact that I promised my parents I would not talk to the tenant about any possible paranormal situations until she was almost done with the house.

I do have a bunch of old photos I will try and get scanned, but I need to either purchase a scanner, or find someone with one (none of my real life friends have scanners, and i balk at spending 100 bucks), and I also need to spend some time and see if there is anything in the photos manually. If I manage to find something interesting, I will go to a shop where they scan stuff and get it scanned.

I am personally rather skeptical of the whole "orb" phenomenon anyways, there are a ton of ways of unintentially recording orb images while taking photos, but if I can find a series of pictures where there is an orb and its in different places in each picture then were cooking with gas.

Since you posted this 4 years ago, just curious whether or not you got to interview the tenant or do any investigating? Your stories are very fascinating. I have also lived in a haunted house and one or two more that I seriously wonder whether they were haunted or not, so I know how annoying some of those things can be.
