I happened to stumble across this and thought some of you might enjoy the history lesson. It's a very creative yet smooth layout too, so enjoy and let me know what you think about it. I'm not completely done reading all of them myself just yet either so I'll have to give a better post on my opinions a little later...

There is nothing like a little selective culling of facts to fit a political position, is there?

I like how it tells of the "great U.S. loss" in the War of 1812.


As far as my history books went, the U.S. pushed the British back. Hence why both sides joke about being beaten twice. The British invaded, the U.S. fought back, and drove the British out and established new borders.

Also, this timeline seems a little left-leaning - it seems to constantly focus on the war and bad things the U.S. has done. But hey, that's what it took back then.
