There would be every reason to hide it if the USAF or USN maintained a fleet of spaceplanes -- that are descended from this craft -- that are still in
operation. You have to remember that:
True, but that's a big IF, and many other problems to solve if going there...(admittedly, it's an intriguing idea)....
1. The Russians, in the late 40's, 50's, and 60's had pretty full penetration of the US Intelligence Service. Therefore, they certainly would have
learned of any US space fleet (logically), just as they learned secrets about the A-bomb, stealth planes, and other high-level secrets. Intel is a
game that the Russians had us beat at for a long time...
2. Most programs have their eventual informants. Such a project as a space fleet would involve far more personnel than any kind of alien containment
team/agency. Manufacturing, communications, not to mention initial launches, launches for maintenance, etc. Somebody is bound to come forward
directly or indirectly....
3. The materials issue is another biggie.... Such materials are described as the same general types of debris, and not conforming to any terrestrial
material, and those comments are even those of high ranking intel officers and generals. If we had such materials then, no doubt we'd be using them
more than 50 years after the fact....
As for the alien bodies, if you look at Brazel's testimony, you'll of course see that his site was just debris. However, during the days he was
held and questioned by the military, he was obviously shown/told something. When asked later (after being released) about little green men...his
response was simply, "they weren't green".
