NO ANSWER

About two months ago i sent a e-mail to NASA the content of message was Why are you talking about Mars mission and colonizing it and no human foot steped on the surface of the Red planet.Why do you want to colonize mars when you could colonize moon,it could be used for better view on other planets and galaxies.
And they did not answer and 2 months passed.What did they see or found on the moon!?

Your email was probably one of 1,000,000 they got in the last two months alone, probably in the last week. It takes a while to get a response.

You also posted this topic on this board and got numerous responses from members as to why Mars is a much more suitable planet to colonize than the moon.

You got a fairly sufficient answer, don't grip just because it wasn't from an official NASA representative, which it wouldn't be from anyway.

NASA are too busy to reply and get 1000s of e-mails each day, so they can't reply to each one coz they don't have the time.

1. It's not a "dead" world.
2. Terra-formable.
3. Better (further) launching point for future exploration.
4. More interesting.
5. It's bigger...

Oh well, at least you're now on the nasa christmas card list (really, you are).

If you send the president a letter you also get put on the list.

Perhaps you should telephone the President and complain.

PS.Gazrok,Is Terra-Formable a word.If not I agree it should be.

Its better because its got a sufficient atmosphere. Along with resources such as metals and there is trapped CO2 under the soil, not forgetting sources of Water.
