I just took this and pasted it from the "members online" spot on the front page and the name Gazrok appears twice. Are there more than one?

My name isn't even on there. And I've left ATS up on my PC all day today, whilst I've been away at work.

I, for one, am happy that there is but one ardent ogre, consistent in his ogrisms.

Leveller, I think that was just a partial cut and paste in the original post.

I like Gazrok...so I'd be okie-dokie (plural of okum-dokum) with there being two!

I also enjoy Gazrok's ogrisms, but I sense he would wish to remain intact as one.

There are four Valhalls:

* the original Sybil
* Tweety Bird imposter
* bearer of fishbowl
* bearer of Kryptonite.

The last one, while striking and interesting, is actually diminishing the legibility of Valhall-speak on my tired eyes.

I think this topic could be usefully expanded into the split personalities of many members.

Intriguing, Masked-A: I'm sure we all guess/intuit many of the multiple identities -I for one lack any of the technology that could help me make a better-informed guess - and I don't see multiple-names as a great sin calling for vengeance from man and God; but out of sheer nosiness (I shan't dignify it as "curiosity" I'd love to know all the "multiples".

Therefore it may surprise you (in an infinitesimal way) that I was referring to the split personality potential of the individual member with an individual identity, not the "Me" and "Mini-me" rort pulled by a few sickos with multiple identities at ATS.

The kind of phenomena observable under the unique member single identity split personality are:

* political fence sitting and general pronouncements that are axiomatic and redundant - then - every 60 days or so - the statement of something of substance, and real impression, which indicate that the member is alive and has some cognition;

* the regression to neanderthal communication styles by certain members at the slightest hint to them of commission of a logical flaw, or a weakness in the argument;

* the announcement of the imminent departure of the individual followed by return and massive acceleration in their posting habits and ATS addiction;

* the chameleon-like ability to transform oneself in age, location, qualifications, spiritualism or experience, any time the member's argument would benefit from it (usually though there tends to be no transgender personality splitting for some reason).

I wonder, if you are registered, does the cookie send something to ATS simply to say you are on line, or must you visit ATS to record that you have 'been on Above Top Secret'.

I am just trying to reasonably estimate the ratio of spooks and spies of various colors to contributing members...
