Is satan redeemable?

What did Satan do to bring about the current condition of Earth?

I mean what the was this dude thinking? Did he really just wanted to be worshipped? He can't be that stupid. Trading worship for an eternity of hell fire? What kind of idiot is this guy? What the did he exactly do and want?

The antichrist will be born. Will this person be able to redeem himself or does he have no choice?

What's this all about? Are we all just a bunch of devil incarnates?

He wanted to be God. He wanted to be worshiped by the new things that were created to worship. Man.
He is not redeemable. Mankind was led astray not having knowledge of Good and Evil. The Angels already had that knowledge and chose accordingly.

The reason I know they are not savable is because the bible says the Lake of Fire was made for satan. Not man. Man can be saved. Satan cannot.
Man is flesh, satan is spirit.

Satan cannot redeem himself. He messed up and the man upstairs tossed him out (most jobs are "at will" and termination can occur at anytime).

if satan was not redeemable, god would have destroyed him long ago.

unless satan has yet to truly manifest itself, in which case we are waiting for the antichrist to do it.

i wonder why the angels always said first "be not afraid"

perhaps we are satan's punishment, satan's burden, satan's responsibility, satan's schooling from the one of TRUTH.

if our GOD is one of mercy and indeed the light of the world, i'm sure this entity of TRUTH can even illuminate the darkness.

but man's test may be, can we forgive satan?

is that how GOD will choose to judge us, as we judge satan.

"judge not, less ye be judged"

besides, it was satan's deception that gave us the authority to judge in the first place.

so we utilize the gift we got from satan on satan?

he can keep that gift, i give it back.

the only thing that has come from it is nearly 7,000 years of documented proof that man can not go one week without war, killing, or destruction.

7,000 years and not 1 week without war/killing/destruction

if i've learned anything its this:

1) fear and hate have failed to abolish fear and hate
2) the best defense is not a good offense; the best defense is not having anything to defend.

if all i arm myself with is the GOD of TRUTH, then what can be taken from me?

no matter what, there it will be >>> TRUTH

Can somebody present any phsical evidence that satan exists?
If you cant prove the existiance of satan then you cant prove theres an antichrist pretty simple really.

Weather or not someone can or can not prove Satans existence, everytime man does wrong against his fellow man or does not help his fellow man when he can, man is the same as Satan.

Is satan redeemable? Yes, but only on alternating Tuesdays. Seriously though.... Depends on which Satan you're talking about - the Crhistian one or the Jewish one and if the Jewish one, which one? See further my post here. To redeem means to buy back. To buy something back you had to own it to begin with.

I don't believe that Satan has the possiblity of being redeemed. Unlike us, he had full knowledge of who God really is. He was able to look at God, and talk directly with God. Satan has no excuse other than pride.

I Believe that one of the reasons that Satan is allowed to continue is to be an example to all the other angels, that to do things that go against God is self destructive. Possibly an example for us as well.

The things Jeffrey Dahmer did, suicide bombers, rape, Natalee Holloway is missing, Adolf Hitler, war, Kurt Cobain's suicide, the men and the terrorist acts on the World Trade Center buildings, etc. If you need more you could probably come up with a list yourself.

DBrant, you list evil men. Men are capable of doing evil without Satan.

Sin started with satan. Sin entered the human race through a temptation and lie from satan. While I agree that men and women must take responsibility when they make wrong choices and produce sinful results, evil can be traced back to satan. Sin comes from wrong choices which come from temptations to live outside of God's truth of what is wrong and right and decide for ourself what is right and wrong.

I listed men and along with their name we should be reminded of what they did that was wrong. Their wrong deeds should be a reminder that there is such a thing as evil. Evil had a beginning and that beginning point and incubator was satan.

Someone asked for physical evidence of satan. I stand by my original answer as physical proof for his existance.

I love it! Create a devil so you can say, "The Devil made me do it!" Create a godman to save you, that way you don't really have to worry about sin or improving yourself, because ... after all, you'll never be as perfect as the godman it took to save you ... and who cares? Your ticket to pie-in-the-sky has already been paid for. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!! I LOVE IT!!! Where do I sign up!?!?!?

if we don't have the answer to that question it is because we truly do not know that truth and love are more powerful than fear and hate and all negativity that stem from them.

personaly i would like to think truth and love are more powerful than fear and hate, but ultimatly that decision lies with the entirety of humanity+.

if fear and hate are the most powerful things that exist the answer must be: NO!

In the mythological storyline, Satan is probably redeemable but does not require redemption.

Man, however, is not redeemable - only in Salvation stories.

And the path to Salvation may not be as much fun for lazy a$$es as sitting around posting in cyberspace about waiting for the alien apocalypse, which is not a path to redemption, but which sounds and looks spectacular in Hollywood portrayals.

Yea, verily, it is so, and so mote it be. Amen to that.

I think that Satan could be redeemable if He wanted to be, But in his mind, It will be more greatful, For how many of God's children he is able to take to Hell with him,,,,,, To distroy what was created and put into a way of life as we..

The Angles themself are jealous of us because of our Fath,, Our Blind Fath to a creater that we have never seen or touched or even never talked to,, Less the Angles who are there with him every since the day of Creation are Jealous of us...

Thats what Satan is all about, He see's how strong our Fath is toward God, Someone we have not seen Yet, But Satan wants the sane filling as God as he gets each and every person that will give up there fath of God, That he can still there Souls from God Just because he can..........

Thats why Satan will never be Redeem because he wants what God has and he is willing to go to Hell with each and every Soul that he steals from God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if satan is not redeemed, he will be rewarded a place to rule what he has stolen from the almighty truth?

if the real power cannot bend it's advisary's point of view to that of perfection, then satan denies perfection .... and satan wins.

if the almighty truth grants satan dominion over any realm permanently, then isn't all of creation split for eternity?

it comes down to only 2 ideals:

together with GOD
or
apart from GOD

to say that satan is not redeemable is to say satan's will is greater than GOD's will.

the only alternative is GOD accepting something besides good and evil, in order to have them seperated by something.
