Is this pink stuff dangerous?

There's been numerous fires in the 'Kingdom of Nye'. The Comissioners are considering us a for disaster area. Due to the huge overgrowth of dried out weeds and winds are water tankers can't keep up. So now they are using a pretty pink fire retardant spray. As noted in the photo below taken on 6/13/2005. Mods feel free to reduce the size of the photo, as I don't know how.

The fire department evacuated everyone before the spraying. Are there any health risks (say) if someone wasn't evacuated? Not that anyone wasn't, I'm just wondering?

It's probably not good to inhale. But it's not deathly.
