EARTH VIEWER - HAVE A LOOK !!!

Check out the earth viewer at nvidia.com...
U need a geforce 2 graphics card or better, also broadband is recommended ( I have 56k it just takes a lot longer for images to sharpen, but is still usable ).
Once u get it going though the images are pretty damn good.

Cranked it up on one of the work computers this arvo. Pretty cool stuff, unfortunately theres a lot of regions that arent yet high res capable.

Nice how A51 is in the preset 'Scenic Sites' or whatever, alongside the Grand Canyon and Mt Rushmore

Also, did you notice when you zoom in on NYC you still get a smoking Lower Manhattan? You'd hope they would have updated that by now eh?

I think it is old because the images belong to www.spaceimaging.com.... If u go to their site u can see an updated picture.
Hopefully the site would get more detailed in time. There are no hi-res pictures of Australia.
