I am looking for all sort of "beast" witnessed or whatever in Australia...i've heard of the yowie and bunyip so none of that crap....what i need is some more unusual ones....i have heard about "Little Brown People" stuff like that would be handy....also strange light like beings...hard to explain that one. So if you know of any or have seen any let me know...i don't care how "far out" the stuff seems or sounds his is purely research...now i'm not saying no one will call you a loony...but i certainly won't.....unless you are...but thats just logic

Im from Australia and there has been some sightings of what has presumed to be the marsupial lion over the last century. These were mostly in the 50, 60 and 70's, and there description of the beast is somewhat similar to what was later found out as the marsupuial lion. But its doubtful it was a marsupial lion as they have been extinct for thousands of years. We have had a large number of introduced species to Australia ever since colonisation and who knows whats out their in the Austrlian bush which is so dense and has hardly been searched. There are a loty of feral dogs and cats that grow astoundingly oversize, and due to hybridisation with the dingo look pretty weird. Earlier this year on the news a video tape of a large black panther in the blue mountains was shown which verified the years of reports of the panther over the last 30 years.

I used to live in the Dandenog Ranges and have heard reports of this "panther" all my life, there was one night when a large black cat walked past one of our windows, but it turned out to be nothing more than a feral cat. There have also been reports of a Tasmanian Tiger in the dandenongs.....but wih the amount of weed pthe people up there smoke it's no wonder they're seeing big cats!
