UFO's and religion

Not trying to offend anyones religion or beliefs in anyway, just saying my thoughts on recent UFO and religion connection..

I dont think UFO sightings or aliens have anything to do with religion whatso ever, they are simply explorers, just like we as explorers. 100 years ago we would of never dreamed of making it to space, now we have remote controlled vehicles on mars. We are just a small speck in the universe, we are not "god" because we exploring space, the same way they are not God for exploring space. Just simply they are advanced species 100,000's or millons of years more advanced than us.

nobody has any opinions on this?

2. Humans are very cruel, we experiment on animals, and we would probably experiment on aliens if given the chance.

I beg to differ.I think that we would do the same and i am pretty sure that we would find a strong enough reason for doing so

You are not the only one to think like that.In fact even some of the "alleged" aliens are saying exactly the same thing.They are not Gods,just advanced beings,and they do not want to be revered or viewed as such....but then again,some people mix religion with this phenomenon,and thismight as well be the new religion of the new millenium

Why would they need to conduct these experiments? What could they learn from us?

That doesnt matter, if they are made up of completely differnet organism's, they still would want to experiment and see exactly what makes us tick.

What if we had the technology to travel to other planets. What if we traveled to a planet and found a race of beings there that were significantly advanced but nowhere near as technologically advanced as us. What if they thought they were the only ones in the universe. Would our technology seem magical to them? Mystical? They would see as otherworldly beings decending from the sky with abilities that might seem miraculous. We might bring them simple medical technology that to them could prevent desease and prolong life. Would we begin to appear as gods to them with the power of life and death? Would they think us devine? Would they bow to us in fear and awe and respect?

What if that happend here on earth to us?

The aliens are perhaps thousands, probably hundreds of years ahead of us technologically. But that doesn't mean that they are spiritually advanced or that they are our spiritual masters. As such, it would be a grave error to assume that just because they are more technologically sophisticated that they also have noble intentions with us.

Perhaps they just like having the sadistic pleasure of toying with the human race? Letting a bit of the populace to see them but not completely coming out and showing face. Taking a few people and expeirmenting on them, probing, poking. I mean look at it realistically. Look at it this way, I you saw a bum walking down the street with a sign sayingwokr for food , half of you would question wither he wanted the money for booze or for drugs. Its a fairly close statistic, that most people when they see these people that they ignore them. If there were any really benevolent alien races out there whats stopping them from showing themselves? Military? If they are so far advanced then that should prose no problem for them. This is my belief. These things ....cal them aliens, call them demons, call them Fred for all I care. If they so truely cared about us they would step in and actually help us. Its almost like they are acting like a kid standing in front of an ant pile and if a bit of sugar falls down then they watch us scramble. Sometimes they drop the artifical sweetner to see what happens. If this message means anything it means this.

Trust is earned not given..even then not lightly

Why would they conduct experiments on us
For the same reason we experiment on other organisms like worms fruit flies
And all kinds of sea life. To learn how things work. It does not matter highly evolved you are you still want to know.

Considering on that you'd think on how advance they are supposed to be that they would've of stopped by now. Or lemme guess they lost all the old data from abductions so they have to periodically redo it. Doesn't fly with me. And maybe we are to blame because we constantly do the same to other species. Oh crap i don't know what it looks like in this animal, guess I got to prod on it again.

Good post.

Their actions do indeed indicate a certain indifference to us and that they are not benign. If they wanted to make themselves publicly known on international television, they could do so easily; they choose not to do so.

There's another terrifying prospect that I'd like to bring to light:

That this planet is subtly quarranteed by the Zetan Empire and that the spacecraft of benign aliens (who would not treat us like laboratory animals and slaves) are not permitted to enter the Sol System and make direct contact with us.
