Good question, what the hell is this anyhow?

I do think this current system is worse than communism, in the sense that communism's failure to account for greed is less offensive to me personally than capitalism's goal of deifying that very base instinct.

Communism is a failed system, most of us can agree with that statement. Capitalism is a failed system. How many agree?

I'm guessing very few, which speaks to our failure, as a society, to learn from our mistakes in a timely fashion, IMO.

Edit: LOVE the avatar/special titles RANT, got me chuckling big time.

Are state owned means vs. corporate owned government the only two options? The US is dominated by the lie that socialism and mercantilism are the only two options. This has been going on now for ~140 years. Why? Because democracy is inherently unstable. The founding fathers knew that, so they implemented a limited republic with checks and balances.

But, the republican form only reduces the rate of instability of democracy, it doesn't solve the problems. And, the checks and balances that have been effectively removed now work only to slightly impede the rate of instability as well.
