Will N.Korea's leader leave his mark in history

as the president of north korea is aging will he try to leave his mark in history by doing something silly? you know.......


........maybe start a fight?

he isnt old yet there is plenty of time to leave his mark and it doesnt have to be starting a fight either.

authough he dosnt have to start a fight, what is he going to use his nukes for? When he says hes gonna use them for 'self defense', what are the chances of that? I think i'll go with joes idea of him doing somthing stupid to put his name in the history books.

The truce between N. Korean and the UN has held for 45+ years and N. Korea not once had to defend itself from any invasion or war in those 45 years, now all of a sudden they need nukes in self defense? Its BS unless Kim plans on doing something stupid to get his name in the books I don't see his need for nukes.

in those 45years he had the backing of china and the soviet union. now china is practically abondoning north korea.

Now the US is doing all this first strike policies. its kinda of scary to a country still technically at war with the US.

I know what you mean about the brainwashing and propaganda. I was watching some footage on TV about the school children being tough at an early age to hate and kill the “Yankees”.

if they did teach children to hate america there would be thousands of children trying to run past the DMZ trying to kill the american soldiers staioned in seoul.

they say things like kim jong ll invented the phone light bulb electricity. and he single handily stopped the american invasion. and he is god rencarnated etc.

I don't know if they do now but they did back when his father was ruling. They had white cardboard cutouts of a person ( representing Americans I suppose) and they would like pretend fight it and stuff, real funny. I don't know if they were school children or some type of young military group.

Kim II Sung in his last days tried to make a sort of chinese style socialist market. the north korean nuclear program was masterminded by Kim Jong II.

My personal opinion about north korea is that should drop communism and do a german style unification. communism doesn't work for small countries.
