Two women have been found guilty of child abuse after mistreating a girl that they brought into the country because they believed she was a witch.

A British court found two African women guilty of child abuse on Friday after hearing how one of them beat a schoolgirl with a high-heeled shoe and rubbed chilli pepper in her eyes because she believed she was a witch.

The two women stuffed the 8-year-old into a large laundry bag and threatened to throw her in to a London canal, a court at London's Old Bailey heard.

How can this sort of thing still be happening today, especially in this country?
I thought we were past all this sort of thing where we torture and kill people thouhgt to be witches, but apparantly not.

What makes this much much worse, is that the suspected 'witch' involved is a young child!
How did this happen without anyone noticing or picking up on anything for so long.

Good heavens....not WITCH HUNTS again!

This just goes to show how without EDUCATION attrocities occur again and again.......that POOR child.........

Hard to believe this could take place in London of all places......eee gads!
