Electric Cars as fast as Ferarris

where did you guys go to school? fuel engines compared to electric motors has always been known. the best gas engine only gets 18% efficiency compared to electricity getting 98% efficiency.

you know TRAINS?> the ones you see all the time, those are diesel motors running generators to run the electric motors that pull those trains.

no gas engine can come remotely close to an electric motor. the only reason we ever went with gas was because it was an abundant fuel easy to carry in a tank. where as batteries required lots more maintenance and stupid people don't do well taking care of things..

I don't like being negative but only cheap low powered motors have permanent magnets. Not having permanent magnets isn't revolutionary at all.

Instead of trying to impress people with performance, which is easy to achieve with electric motors, they should try and impress with battery technology.

It is worthless being able to out accelerate a Ferrari if you then have to stop and recharge for 2 hours.
