As to your post, you might want to perform a search, this has been discussed in some military forums before. Good idea as opposed to actually using weapons, yes, good idea for major crowd control, no. Using pain to restrain large crowds will often turn the group rioutous.

how the heck he get negative points? in ani case yeah the new pain beam may be better alternative to actually firing into the crowd with jacketed lead bullets.

im not sure that i want to join any angry mobs or angry protestors when this beam is ready to use.... any way how does it work??? this is the first time that ive heard about a pain beam

Its basically a microwave beam on steroids. Its a high powered microwave beam that heats up the water molecules on a person skin and you feel as if your being cooked, but it only penetrates about 1/64 of an inch so you should be all right. However continues prolonged exposure to the beam will fry you.

I think it can if it's aim at a spot for a long time... the beam just hurts the victim so that s/he will back away...

I think you spell it right. It would be a long time before we can have one in the size of a gun. We don't have good enough energy sorces to make it that small. We can make one(the size of a hand gun) but i will probility take one shot and it's our of energy lol.
