Tesla told Von Nuemann (sp?) that the technology did not support using human beings in the test. They hadn't figured out how to deal with the time lock each person has that is associated with their individual moment of conception. Tesla dropped out of the experiment at that point and died (was killed?) in January 1943. The Navy decided to go ahead with the experiment anyway, and the result was the crew members embedded in the hull and others that lost corporeality and eventually just disappeared. I've also read about some of them freezing or bursting into flames, and something about some crew members involved in a bar fight that got pretty weird.

Carlos Allende (Carl Allen?) was the whistle blower who witnessed the test from a merchant ship close by.

The Philadelphia Experiment became Project Rainbow, Project Pheonix, and the Montauk Project, to name a few. One practical application of the original experiment that the Navy will acknowledge is the process called DeGaussing (sp?) that protects ships from magnetic mines.

This link provides a long read about the subject:

www.freezone.org...

There is a ton of information out there about this topic, and I, for one, am inclined to believe that something major went down at the docks that day, and we are still feeling the effects of it to this day. Tesla coils are incredibly powerful, and, phased properly, could potentially induce some of the effects hypothesized in Einsteins Unified Field Theory

Thanks for that link you posted. Interesting, to say the least. However the open-format style bothered me a little. It was also a tad confusing, because it jumped from one time period to another. The alien-involvement thing is still a bit new for me, and I find it’s rather hard to accept.

Also, I discovered something about the site you listed. It’s a Scientology website. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I don’t know anything useful about Scientology. I’m just not clear why information about the Eldridge would be on a Scientology website.

My interest is still peaked. I suppose ordering the CD’s I found would be useful, I just wish I could sit in front of the TV and watch them. No biggie.

Yes, it is curious that PX info would be on a Scientology website. I wasn't aware of who was hosting it. Scientology was founded by L. Ron Hubbard, and took his book 'Dianetics' and turned it into a religion. Basically it is a psychological healing method that postulates mental and emotional difficulties are caused by traumatic experiences that form a 'lock', with subsequent related negative experiences forming a 'chain' that binds the mind. There is an 'auditing' process one participates in that traces the 'chain' back to the 'lock' and breaks it, setting the individual free from that mental constraint. Once all mental constraints are eliminated, the individual achieves a state known as 'clear'. Meanwhile the church has learned all of the individual's dirty little secrets along the way, and the person is then at the beck and call of Scientology for life under threat of having their dirty laundry exposed to damaging effect. I did a report on it in college and attended some meetings - good concept, scary application.

But you were looking for more info on the Eldridge. Have you tried crystallinks?

After the experiment was over didnt some members of the crew begin to "phase" or walk through walls and such. I think this was reported in a newspaper at the time but i havent seen it.
There was a guy who blew the whistle years later but i cant remember his name ....... Carlos something.

The story arose from some enigmatic letters sent from a supposed crew member called Charles Allende. Later, he became known as Carlos Allende and it has never really been proved that he served on the Eldrige.
Charles/Carlos wrote that the Navy were experimenting with magnetic coils to disrupt attacks from torpedoes on the US Navy and make their ships 'invisible' to them.
However, he claims that another real experiment was going on and the powers that be wished to make a ship truly invisible.
Carlos has adjusted certain claims over the years and sadly he died a few years ago.
The Eldridge was eventually sold to the Greek Navy and now wanders Eastern seas.

After extensive searches and interviews, no real evidence could be brought to light to show what Eistien hoped for and it seems it made a laughing stock of Allende.
Interestingly, a name that one should investigate further about this subject is Gerald Light. He seems to be a mystery in the annals of US history.

as stated by others, this sounds like the Philadelphia Experiment to me. I've been facinated by it for a long time. Somehow I recall Tesla's name involved with it as well for some reason

Hi evryone, good post asala. I have had an interest in this topic ever since I first saw the movie 'The philadelphia Experiment' back in the 80's.
I happen to have the 'al bielek' 1993 science conference video's 1 & 2.
They are incredible if true. They go through the original experiment and then on to the Montauk project which is very technical and scientific in showing how they have had and use now the technology for time travel ,steming from the early experiments of bending time. I purchased them from NEXAS MAGAZINE only a couple of yrs ago-

for the record, they supposedly couldn't see the years 2011-2013...but could see past 2013...

He stated that for some reason, they could never penetrate the years 2011-2013. He also stated that the technology is so good, they could pull you out, ship you to another time period and bring you back so fast, that it would appear as no time had passed yet you could have aged several months or years because of the time you spent in the other time. He claimed that this happened to him on a number of occassions. Lastly, he shared that when they were able to see the future, past 2013, it appeared as if there was no life living on the earth.

taken from an al bielak lecture in 1990... www.v-j-enterprises.com... (scroll way down to the bottom) theres actually a few good interviews with him on that page.

Ok well I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents on the Philidelpia Project. I think that the teleportation (assuming it actually happened) was completly intentional, and was a success (with the exception of what happened to the crew).

Just think about it, what are the chances that the ship would land on sea level? What are the chances it would appear on Earth, or right side up instead of upside down? But the biggest question that proves this theory is, what are the chances of it appearing in Norfolk?

Really why Norfolk. To me Norfolk is too much to be pure coincidence. I mean, of all the places in the universe that the ship could appear in, why the home of the world's largest naval base, property of the USN?

Allende supposedly served on a merchant marine ship that was moored nearby and he observed the alleged 'experiment'. His assignments and actual service in the Merchant Marine has long been disputed.

The arrangement of coils and generators he described exactly matched hull degaussing, which was routinely performed on warships to help protect against magnetic mines and magnetic sensors in torpedoes.

The Eldridge was decommissioned by the Greek Navy in 1996(?) after years of service. Sailors of all Navies worldwide are superstitious and try to avoid serving on ships 'with a past'. The Greek Navy never reported anything unusual or unexplained about the ship while in their service and they knew of the story after it appeared in the media.

The alleged 'Philadelphia Experiment' never existed in the media or public consciousness until it was mentioned in a book by Charles Berlitz, the same Berlitz that created the Bermuda Triangle story.

A great Moderator, and the Super part is well deserved in my opinion.
Don't know all about the experiment Tesla was involed and Freud too (in written thoughts to the then Pres)

But can we actually prove it really happened - Sir - I cannot for now. It's sort of on the edge of my research and the facts are fading rapidly. But, I'll do more work on it.

I seem to remember the fracas that occurred in a dock-side bar, included some of the crew from the Eldridge and was reported in a local paper.
The newspaper indicated that when M.P's burst in to stop the 'scuffle', the Eldridge crew 'dissappeared'!
After some investigation, researchers found the said article, but the column size of the story didn't match any USA papers of that time.

I believe that there's very little here in regards of proof.
Again, if Gerald Light is still alive, he may hold some answers.

THERE ARE TO MANY FLAWS IN THE STORY . ONE FOR AN OBJECT TO BE TELEPORTED YOU NEED A DIFRENT RESONATING FREQ THAN THAT OF THIS REALITY TO CONCLUDE THIS STORRY WITH ALL KNOWN TECHNOLOGY FROM TODAY WE ONLY WERE ABLE TO TELEPORT AN ATOM TROUGH A SMAL DISTANCE .. SO IN THE 40 YOU SAY THAT A BUNCH OF SCIENTIST MANAGED TO TELEPORT A SHIP ... NO WAY IT AIN;T POSIBLE NOT WITH EARTH TECHNOLOGY AT LEAST . PROBLEMS .. ONE YOU NEED A LOT OF ENERGY TO TRANSPORT A SHIP WITH ALL THE CREW ON BOARD TO EAVEN A FEW METERS .2 EAVEN IF YOU DO IT AIN'T POSIBLE TO PREDICT THE ASAMBLY OF ATOMS ... SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT IS POSIBLE .. IN THE WORST CASE IT WILL BE DESINTEGRATED ... YOU DO NOT HAVE A MATRIX TO CALCULATE THE DISTANCE AND POSITION OF THE ATOMS IN THE SHIP AND THAT AIN'T POSIBLE
THIS IS WHY .. OUR UNIVERSE 80GHZ FOR AN ENERGY SOURCE TO MAKE A TELEPORTATION YOU NEED TO RESONATE THE ATOMS FROM THIS REALITY ABOVE 80GHZ ... THE BIGGEST STABLE FIELD MANNEGED TO RESONATE AN ATOM AT 900 HZ SO... WE STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TILL .. TELEPORTATIO N.. IF YOU NEED THE EQUATIONS AND TEST PARAMETES POST A MEASGE

THERE ARE TO MANY FLAWS IN THE STORY .....

Why are you shouting at us with the all caps post?

As a point of reference, last year my son's Boy Scouts Troop went to Ft. Hero, Montauk to camp out for the weekend.

As my son joined the troop AFTER their campout - I can't talk first-hand about the place. We weren't there.

However, I obtained some 2nd-hand info from the Troop leader. He said that the entire troop felt very uncomfortable. A few scounts got sick almost spontaneously (not sure if it was food poisoning, or something else), while others got big headaches.

The Troop leader said that HE was uncomfortable also. Sleeping at night was an obstacle for all, and when it was time to leave, they couldn't packup and leave fast enough.

Despite everyone having an eery feeling, nobody saw anything. Nobody experienced any provable effects of the Philadelphia Experiment. Nobody's magnetic compass was going crazy. The stars were out in abondance during their stay, but nothing out of the ordinary was visible in the sky.

It was just the sudden sickness and severe headaches for some, while all got the same uncomfortable feeling.

The only thing that the Troop leader thought was interesting was that while they explored the area together during the day, they came upon some buildings with fencing around them. Some of the fences were clipped open, and two of the leaders went in. They actually got into some of the buildings. The intersting part was that everything looked really old, but that there was no dust anywhere on the tables, floors or other parts of the building/strucuture. One would expect dust to settle over time, but no dust was visible. Certainly interesting, but not as interesting as people burning for days, or disapearing. Could it be because of high winds, or someone cleaning or maintaining the area? Who knows.... The Troop leader did not expand on why there was no dust around. He probably did not know why.

If you have ever been to Montauk, it's isolated and can be scary because of the isolation. I have been there a few times, during the day, and felt weird, but could not attribute the feeling to anything specific. Just an overall uncomfortableness.

Too bad I missed this outting. I would have brought my camcorder and several digital cameras, including one that I specifically use for night-time photography (has a tripod attached, and is pre-set for night shooting).

So far there is no expectation of the Troop venturing out there in the foreseable future. The experience is still fresh in the Troops minds. Particularly the Troop leader. He got a two-day migrane from being there.

My 2 cent contribution.

I was able to listen to Al Beileck live at a survival conference in Indy a few years back. He told a good story that was believable until he go into interdimensional travel, and a creature they named Junior. It is interesting to note all the references to Tesla and his Genius. True or not it is interesting, and a worthy conspiracy.

While checking into this fascinating story with all the great links posted by everyone, make sure to look at both sides of the story...I sit on the fence in my beliefs on this and love reading all aspects of it, but make sure to check out this link too

www.bielek-debunked.com...

It's quite alot of information regarding just who Bielek may or may not be...it was after seeing this, that I wasn't so sure any more....

One of those fascinating things that kinda makes you go....hmmmmm...
