Over 2,000 people responded to a survey conducted jointly by Friends Reunited and BBC Good Food magazine. The survey asked adults about their eating
habits in connection with their memories of school dinners.
Fifty percent of people that said meat was a problem at school turned vegetarian. 53% had said they were forced to eat the school meals.
The top 10 hate list was Tapioca, Cabbage, overcooked veg, lumpy mash, lumpy custard, Liver, Semolina, gristly meat, Blancmange, and Beetroot.
