One of my co-workers snapped this pic of a UFO in North Dakota. He noticed the object in the viewfinder just as he was about to snap the shutter, and by the time he snapped it and pulled the camera away from his face, the object was gone.

I don’t know man it looks really fake to me. I’m not a professional this is simply my initial impression of the image after looking at it in photoghop.

This is not conclusive proof that the image was altered in photoshop but it has the following header:

ÿØÿà JFIF d d ÿì Ducky A ÿî Adobe dÀ ÿÛ

No question at all, this is obviously a fake and a photoshop. The distortion around the object in question is easy to see.

Not only does it look fake, it looks as fake as any UFO picture I've ever seen posted at ATS. Why not just draw the UFO in using Crayolas? It would probably look more genuine.

Peace

Why is it everytime someone posts a picture with a UFO, people immediately yell photoshop? Do you people work for the gov't? Are you UFO experts? Sorry, I just find it funny how people debunk UFO's based on the program that may have been used to 'open and save ' a pic.

As far as the "blurriness" around the picture, did you ever think maybe it is a release of 'heat' from the source of it's energy that is propelling this UFO? Granted, this sure as hell may be fake, i really just wondered why all the closed minds?

It wouldnt blur the entire picture would it? I think its fake because of two reasons:
The lightning look all fuxed up (why is the UFO dark on the right when the sun is apparently in that direction? It should be the other way around).
The UFO is TOO clear for the photo (that's something novel since its usually the opposite, lol!
)

But I'm no analysts.

Because that's my opinion and I'm free to give it on ATS. I was very clear in my first post that that "I’m not a professional" and "this is simply my initial impression of the image". I also went on to say that the header data "is not conclusive proof that the image was altered in photoshop ". What more do you want. I stand by everything I said.....I believe the image is a fake.

How is it I have a closed mind because I believe this image is fake. I will judge things as I see them according to my own criteria. I've said it before a conspiracy theorists best friend should be skepticism.

To me, the light sources on the "UFO" and the house don't seem to match up. The house looks like the sun is behind the photographer and to the left. The "UFO" has light coming at it more from the left than the house. Just my two cents.

This is a pretty conclusive sign of a fake.

It doesn't even look real!!!!! It can't be any more obvious. I've seen better special effects in a porn movie.

Peace

Gentlemen, thank you for your time. The perpetrator of this hoax was confronted this morning after I saw all of your responses, and he readily admitted he was just messing around... seeing if he could fool anybody; and clearly he didn't. Except me anyway.

So thank you for having a critical eye and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Sorry guys, I was playing Devils advocate. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers. It was really not meant for just this post but most of them with a pic that goes up. Anything that is this clear more than likely is shopped....
