Why car stopes

Possible reason for car engine turning off when some ufo case happenes is because of the aiming the electromagnetic wave on the car.I saw that on some German science show.They used a electromagnetic wave to stop the engine of the car it was between 50 and 70 GHz or something like that ,can not remember now.Anyway it's possible that the military used it on some of the persons whou saw ufo and similar.Anyone know something about that?

speaking of emps...was that one in Ocean's 11 realistic.....it was in the back of a van and blacked ut pretty much the whole city, as well as itself.....do we have THAT type of technology, or are the emps on a much smaller scale?

There has been a dearth of 'car stopping' cases in the last few years in regards to UFOs. The people over at CUFOS wonder if this is because, knowing that we have noticed this, the aliens have modified their tech to become stealthier... Or is, knowing that every other american has a videocam nowadays, they're simply staying away from built-up areas more than they use to.

Personally, I've always suspected that the ability to stop cars was more along the lines of a controllable ability than a byproduct of 'engine wake' or something like that.

I always just assumed that it was a 'byproduct' until, when reviewing some famous cases, it became apparent that the UFO would fly nearly parallel to the car for awhile before stopping it. There are also many cases where cars DON'T stop when driving under a UFO, and I am yet to read a case where an aircraft's engine stopped when in immediate proximity to a UFO (though there have been cases of planes breaking up near UFOs). My guess is that the EM 'disruption' is caused by a system that they use like a net or harpoon.
