Is ATS Being watched?

I don't know, perhaps they just monitor these threads so they can find out what people are worried about, in order to reassure the undecided voter, or that they can help assure us that they arent doing these things. Or for that matter perhaps there is someone watching us, just to see what people's analasys of the problem is, for instance; this is an internet discussion board. Like william pointed out three Insiders are coming here regularly, so therefore if they came here regularly and they havent reported that we're a bad site or anything, then we can assume that it doesn't really matter. But of course they monitor us, this is a forum ^_^, and some forums can be anti-american, and if we went into that phase, then they could possibly label us "terrorists" due to the Patriot act... you can never be certain.

Why not ? With terrorism on a surplus, big brother needs to keep a watchfull eye on it's subject.

they are watching ats to see what people think and what they are doing. they just want to learn from what we post. and they get ideas

Probably if the ATS was watched, the operators would be able to sense a systematic data flow (done by a software), which could reduce ATS performance. On the other hand, there could be agents sitting and watching ATS all day, but I don't think it's worth that much.

More likely that the media is watching the ATS (why not), and anyithing interesting goes around, they'll make story of that.

First, let me say that if this is a repeat of someone else's ideas, I'm sorry: I didn't read through all four pages of the thread.

I think that "free speech" in the US works like this:

1) Sensitive information is kept secret, period. Ordinary people simply do not have access.

2) With number one in effect, it is pretty safe to let people talk about whatever they want. Even if they guess the nature of a black program dead-on, it is still just a guess. Just speculation. When people don't have proof, it really doesn't make much difference what they say.

3) Certainly there are programs in effect to prevent the few people who do have sensitive information from talking about it. I would imagine that most of these take the form of computer programs monitoring and sifting all communication mediums for very specific key words that would indicate INSIDE information.

Probably this web site is included in such activities. A human being reading posts word for word is less likely, but then again, ATS is (IMHO) one of the premier conspiracy sites on the net, so the posts might be checked out now and then. It really wouldn't take much time, as most threads would be pretty obviously of no interest.

I don't believe it is just law enforcement that observes, I think
the media as well.

I'll tell you why, notice the new show "Conspiracy" on the
History Channel, bet someone was surfing the web and saw
all the hits this site gets. Then brought it to the channel, the idea
of the show "Conspiracy", they now have $ponsor$ and a $how.

As a matter a fact, I saw a story the other day in media news that
was after the fact we had here.... written with the same context/idea.

1 Of course ats is under surveilance.

Thats what they do, surveilance of the internet and why not ats.
Many people have ben harased just for sayng something or speaking their mind i found couple of examples in alex jones documetarys.
This guy is beeing atacked by swat and a swat dog in the middle of the street just for lesening to the alex jones show.
So you bet they are waching, how else would they know who was that guy and how would they know that he was lisening to some shows and giving a opinion.
So i would say 100% sure that ats is beeing wached simply because ats has not one guy but many many people that think like that guy
who was attacked simply cause he just had an opinion.

seriously though, im sure they are hear amongst us. not do anything like become friends with key members so they can raid them and seize the servers, but just to keep one eye on us. just incase something that they really dont want leaked does get leaked, or maybe because they might find it fun to muse at how little or how much bullsh!t we think we know. its an interesting idea.

It is only common sense that ATS is being watched.

There is one conclusive test you can give your website however to see if it is being monitored.

What you need to do is read through as many posts as possible.

If you notice that the content is somehow being censored, then your site is being watched.

Once you discover this you can determine who is watching your site by logging onto and entering the password .

That password will get you into an area called .

Once there you can see the IP address by using the word / keystroke combo of .

Once you see the IP address displayed go to www..com and enter that IP address into the database called .

This is where you will be able to see who is monitoring your site.

By the way since I have your attention I will tell you that actually killed Kennedy!
