Is ATS Being watched?

The way I think, Uncle Sam has much bigger fish to fry than the ones here. And they are not doing an excellent job of that. And I don't think there are many if any criminals here. Everybody is to buy typing or surfing to commit a crime!
I'm syre somone drops by.
Probably to read the inquisitive threads so they can learn where they need tighten their security as we solve conspiracy's constantly!
And finally as a barometer, we live in a much more realistic world than law enforcement, they are way over on one side of what is real, sometimes I feel sorry for them

This is a discussion board for god's sake. Why the worries?

The fact is this message board has A LOT of very interesting topics that are discussed on it. Those topics could attract many people from all different circles. And as much as it may surprise some of you... a lot of these G-men go home at the end of the day and look for some interesting reading.
Like tut said, bigger fish to fry. No one here is stockpiling nukes as far as i can tell.

I have ever read? I mean who cares that you all are discussing these things? For the most part people think that conspiracy theroists are crack pots anyways. I think they have better things to do.

You should read the ATS Message board better, there is a lot info being disscussed here that is really serious, nobody in the goverment would like to see that kind of info in Huge Media Corps. Appearing on the news.

Could be CA that we do,if i was paid X amount of dollars just to sit infront of a computer and report back to HQ then i dont see why there realy arent agents on ATS.

I understand, but what i tried to point out was those things that to everybody are relevant
But no problem dude, as long as there is no Spies, or goverment agencies monitoring this site and it�s members is ok.

Don�t forget also that for claim laws against "cyber terrorism" they must have a system to track those people posting "bad things" and hacking all over the net....

They are not stupid, freedom of speech is ending second after second everybody knows that, just give it it�s time...

I think the keep an eye on us, is just a guess, but ATS has 2400 members, is very possible to have 10 people for example checking the info we talk about and stuff like that, there are a lot of members that are posting 1 message each month or something like that, most of them are reading, maybe there is a half of the ATS community that are active, but the rest are like corpses...

I think there are agencies watching all we do and say all the time. And maybe more!
They keep themselves so quiet and discreet,who knows?

I was originally put on to ATS by an associate who works for the NZSIS...which is kinda NZs version of the Feds I guess. I do know that for some time he and a few other 'associates' of his were checking out places like ATS...more so for a good laugh, to see how far off some of the theories out there were...just surfing the Conspiracy sites to kill time in breaks etc. But also to see if anything came up they might need to be more aware of.

...when you think about it...if I was in the business of wanting to secure control of information...wanting to secure control of a populace...then I'd have more than a passing glance at what the 'crack-pots' are up to.

For its the fringe members of society...the ones who have a little bit of paranoia going on...the ones who have a little bit of disdain for authority...the ones who want to poke their nose a little deeper into things than the average person...these are the types of people who come to these sites. These are also the types of people who are more likely to become 'problematic', to support any action against authority...to even actively partake in it.

So in a way...if you monitor these types of sites you may just increase your chances of catching the next Timothy McVeigh...

That is exactly what i am saying in this thread, u got the exact point, and i guess this is a good place to see how the "rebels of society" are talking about the lies they tell us everyday...

I believe it is more likely that 'the government' directly employs ATS to keep an eye on members than it is that spooks visit ATS on official business to review hatching revolutions, communist plots, planned assassinations, sedition or average everyday conspiracies to commit acts of grand larceny or treason.

But thank God none of the spooks can read Thomas Crowne's U2U's; he comes across as such as a fine upstanding citizen who would never speak out against the incumbent 'president', until you hear him whispering.

The only connection I see between Thomas Crowne whispering and WhispersInTheDark whispering is that they are both allowed to whisper freely in a spook-infested ATS environment.

Other than that, I sincerely hope TC and WITD are not alter egos, as that would indicate a more severe personality disorder than what I was prepared to diagnose when I knew TC would be happy to have 1000 assorted madmen at his new country home next year.
