I've had the privilege of exposing examples of political correctness gone insane on this website on several occasions. For the most part, it's
groups like the ACLU and other "independent" liberal groups who try to censor people from expressing themselves because it might hurt other peoples
feelings. So imagine my horror when I read an article moments ago about some Bush supporter doing the same thing
The craziest part is it still took
place in California!
At El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, CA, a suburb of LA, the school was doing a play showing “The Complete History of America
(Abridged),” and they had posters to advertise it. The poster featured George Bush with Groucho-like eyebrows, cigar, moustache, and glasses.
Everything was fine until one senior complained that the posters made Bush look bad and it offended him. Immediately the posters were torn down and
destroyed. Among other things, the school said it promoted smoking, too.
If this trend keeps up, our first amendment rights will be null and void. With both sides playing the PC card, and effectively, it is not likely to
change. It is more likely to get worse. This has to stop, every American is guaranteed the right via the first amendment to be offended. We need that
right back!!!
