The wind and the crickets, outside my window,
Awaken me each night.

I lie on my side,
And quietly turn to watch you sleeping.
Your chest rises in rythem with your silent breath.
Sleep tousled hair of ashen brown,
Curls around an oval face.

..........And your mouth,
The mouth I know so well.
The soft moist lips curving into a contented smile.
The smile that I love you for.
The smile that brings that special sparkle into your laughing eyes.

Your beautifull......moon grey eyes.
I dream of falling into your eyes,
Falling into the depths of endless warmth,
........Falling into your body,
...............................................Your soul,
...............................................Your mind,
And becoming forever.....as one.

Falling all over again,
In love.....
With you.

People come,
People go.....
Endlessly throughout our lives.

~~

Good times,
And bad times....
Good friends at our side.

~~

Memories.....to be charished,
Never cast aside....
Of good friends,
Like old wine.

~~

Remember this?
Remember that?
Conversations from your heart.

~~

We will always be together....won't we?
Promises made,
Never to part.

~~

Colors fade,
Years pass.......
Good friends,
Hand in hand.

~~

Remember the flavor,
That always lasts......
Good friends,
Always can.

~~

No, it is not possible to be bored by poetry. A boring poem simply goes unread. Anyway, you are a very interesting poet. Something different at least.

There is a legend they tell,
On dark cold nights...
Of the Witch in Memory Grove.
She can only be seen at midnight,
As she is wandering over the road.

A couple of kids, from the east side of town,
Who dared laugh at the stories they tell,
Went to the Grove at midnight,
And now they whimper from hell.

The Grove is a place to remember....
Of people deep under the ground.
The deeds of long dead soldiers,
Tombs for those never found.

The shadowy woman who visits there,
To mourn for her man that was lost,
Must not be disturbed from her weeping,
She'll have your head as the cost!

Beware of the Grove on dark lonley nights,
When the clock is close to twelve...
For then the Witch is waiting for you,
To join in her lonley hell.
