Sorry for the Delay, been reconstructing my notes...
(Of Course, I am saving the Best, most complex, and longest - Really long - for Part 3 of 3 parts)
Act 2:
On - VH1 Confidential (Aried on) November 6, 2000
Ray anxious for 7/6/2001 when Jim Morrison’ grave will be open. (Re bury in LA) Hopes that they will open the casket. Doesn’t believe that He’s
in there, believes Casket is empty. Ray Will be there..
Strangely enough, the French did not ask that the Grave be moved (as semi-expected due to vandalism, However this grave is the #3 tourist attraction
in France)
In my last post, there is a link to Jims Last Will and Testament, It leaves everything to Pam, (If she dies before he does, the whole thing goes to
his Brother and Sister) So How is it possible for His parents to sue the doors as reported by:
www.thesmokinggun.com...
It reads in part:
APRIL 24--The parents of Jim Morrison yesterday sued two of their son's former Doors bandmates, claiming that the musicians, now touring in a
reformed version of the famous group, have "maliciously misappropriated" the name and logo of The Doors and are using Morrison's poetry and photos
without permission. In a Los Angeles Superior Court complaint, octogenarians George and Clara Morrison allege that Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger
have stolen "these valuable property rights" in a bid to promote and market "a new band that they recently organized with two other individuals
that have never been associated with the original Doors band" and which plans on launching "a national and international tour in order to wrongfully
enrich themselves."
Adding more curiosity to this is The copyright in An American Prayer claiming to control Pam’s estate.
The copyright in An American Prayer Reads:
