just wonder if yall are into that game, ive got to say that as a life long gamer i am highly impressed by the intrecity and over all application of the mechanics. just an over all superb title, that draws out some truel epic battles.

let me share with you is what i think our some good tricks to becoming a succesful advanced mechanized combat simulation master!

- steady upkeep for battle groups
- diverse special attack munitions
- heavy armor capabilities under permition
- balanced upkeep

so far i only have sufficient experience with the space marine sqaudron, so i couldnt tell you the best strategies with the other races of warriors.

True it is a table top game (i've been told not to call it a board game), but it is also a PC game now.

Looks like a good game but I'm having too much fun playing Rome: Total War

I made an attempt a couple of times to start an army when I much younger, didn't really get into it. I prefer reading the fiction to playing it.

it would apear as though the avid enthusists of the old board game really have a signifigant leg up on the compition, even though ive been playing RTS for my entire life one such oppenent came into the digital area with a mere two online matches under his belt and pelted me into oblivion with a intrinsically laced plethora of units.

usually shoot for assualt anti heavy armor units, and space marrines with plasmas, although lately i havnt been fairing too well against some of the more experienced players.

There have been Warhammer games for years! Google it, you will find about a dozen of them.

ALso, GO ORKIES!!!! Our stuff works because we said so!(In the Ork book it explains that when others((Space Marines or Imperial Guard)) look at the machines/guns the orks used none of them work, but they did, and it is because the Orkies think they do, so they do! How kick ass is that?)

Also tried the Tyranids, they were alright, loved the GenoRaptors(American name is GeneStealers, but I use the Italian name Geno Raptor) could tear almost anything apart in close combat, but the SPace Marines have Land Raiders, those things are impossible to kill with Tyranids.(Well, a Carnifex could, but they dead before they get close enough to hit)

REALLY? Where can I get it? I've never played the game, but I'm really into that sort of thing, I've played related games like Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy RPGs on computer, and war games like Risk and Risk:2210AD (or whatever year they picked, lol)

If the warhammer PC game is legally available free, can I get a link or copy of it? (I believe it is against ATS T&C to request an illegal copy, so I ask only for free legal ones, if they exist)
