surge protection

well it's raining and thundering here right now, and it reminded me of the time my modem got fried in a thunder storm. just felt like saying get a surge protector for the computer's regular plugs, but also make sure it has slots for a modem whether it be DSL, cable or 56k. the new surge protector i have now protects the modem and the PC, so i can surf the web while it rains. it has outlets for cable, phone line, fax, modem etc etc it was definitly worth the buy
