Necronomicon experiments

The word “Necronomicon” is Latin and simply means: Book of the Dead. Lovecraft did not make this book up – he simply used historical references in his fictional stories. Necronomicons have existed in almost every ancient culture from the beginning of written time, Sumerians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Asian cultures, etc. Much of Lovecraft’s work, (as well as other groups around the time of Lovecraft like the Golden Dawn and Alister Crowley), seems to be a directly influenced by the writings of John Dee and Edward Kelly. These men claimed to be in contact with Angelic beings that gave them pieces of Enochian Magic through the years 1582-1587. Enochian Magic has gates and keys, strange beginnings from beyond reality that have seals made up of squiggly lines and magical calls that will get the attention of these beings – both angelic and demonic. All of which is nearly identical to Lovecraft’s fictional environment as well as many of the fake Necronomicons.

Erm, he invented the story of the mad arab who wrote a book in human blood, etc etc, for his stories.

Lovecraft's world is not supposed to be an organized mythos. Its pruposely made as a chaotic world wherein there's not much reason for any of the horrors.

The book that's in circulation is merely a guide or an example.. a lot of it has been "slightly" changed and you'd have to be quite a scholar to be able to actually piece names and symbols together. It is a very "touchy" book, very precise... If anything is mispronounced, drawn or done incorrectly it would be unfruitful... I'm glad people want to show people another world and open their minds, but they should take a step back and educate people.... The book is useless and I wouldn't touch it if I were you, you'd need to be educated on spirits and educated on yourself. It's just displaying the mechanics of a particular reality yet its been editted for those who "think" they hold power.

Pay attention to the "air of your life" when reading or studying that book. (From the standpoint of actually learning and experimenting, use your intuition and feelings.

But if you seriously want to learn about stuff like that you should seek out a brujo/shaman, and become an apprentice.

Don't you think that if the book was real that someone would have used it already and the world would be a different place because of it? Anyone could make up something that is similar to old magic practices, but that doesn't mean its going to work.

You can try the rituals in the book. Weither or not they work is entirely placed upon you. Energy effects the world around you. How you choose to apply that energy, is up to you. So in that aspect is using this book any different then another?

Yes as these are energy constructs.

No as these constructs are from a darker more sinister place. i.e id

But for the book being the one true Necronomicon, it isn't. Howard made that book up from some references from literature and some from history. If the book were truely are real thing, then I would truely fear for this world. Based off the works of H.P, there would be no stopping the horros that come out at night.

It IS real. I am getting annoyed of people who are convinced that it isnt. Why do you think so? Anyways, I have illegedly a transcribed copy of it. I understand chaos-magic and am actually being trained in such workings. what I want to know though, has ANYONE actually tried the spells or incantations/ summonings, etc?

I am listening to this Red Ice radio show here, and didnt John Dee 'contact' the macrobes and they wanted blood offerings (Why our soldiers have marks on them so it will be blood scacrifice.) and the macrobes didnt want to help him untill the humans could create matter into energy and energy into matter ? (H-bomb & LHC ? )...

If your actually talking about the "real" necronomicon you must mean Ahmad al-Buni’s Shams al-Mar’arif al-Kubra, or “The Sun of Great Knowledge”. Other similar ancient manuscripsts are the Leydon parypus and Emerald Tablet. But Lovecrafts "Necronomicon is BS.

ok, i don't normally talk about things that big in the occult on this website, mainly to protect the privacy of my owninvolvement, but

i have a copy myself and it is to say the least a very powerful book. probably one of THE MOST powerful books known to the occult.

while reading it i almost went a little crazy, but i never realized it until i was forced by outside sources to stop reading it, after i stoped for 3 days it felt like i was snapping out of the funk and what not haha

but back to what i was saying, it is a powerful book, and people who are not ready who try to read it go crazy, and people who try to practice what's in it can harm themselves

alot of occult practice deal with rearranging the neurological pathways of the brain, my last *instructor* in the occult was using the practice to control his *evolution* in this manner, much as all occultists do conciously or not, the necronomicon is a prime source for this kind of thing, and if you aren't powerful enough yet or ready and truely manage to pull off something from that book, you can cause your neurology to change in a way that will end up biting you in the ass... say for example you end up becoming schizophrenic or going mad in general which has happened due to the necronomicon

aside from that my instructor always tried very hard to push onto me that i should read that book, i was always too fearful because my last encounter with the book would have left me literally crazy had it not been for the fact that i was forced to stop reading it halfway in, his idea was the necronomicon was a factual historical book and a guideline for some very very powerful magic.
