The Strangest Thing Happended This Morning

This morning as I was getting ready for work I was standing infront of my full length mirror in just my undergarments (which are cotton), then all of a sudden my entire body felt enveloped with a strangley warm static cling, wrapped all around me. You know how it feels when you rub a balloon on your hair...... It seemed as though all the hair on my body and my skin had stood on end. It scared the heck outta me, LOL I left without bothering to put on my shoes. I put them on in the car.

Anyone have any idea of what this could have been? The windows were not open and the A/C nor heater was on. It was a beautiful spring morning.

Hrmm that's odd, do you live near high power lines or some structure that uses massive amounts of electricity? (Just throwing ideas out there)

nope, no power lines. I live on an acre and a 1/2 with nothing but a huge sprawling lawn. I have lived here for a few years. It's never happened before. It was just out of the blue. It felt like a big cosmic hug. LOL, but it scared the bajebus outta me.

Last summer for a few months I had something that felt like a feather boa that like to touch me when I was sleeping. I also saw little tine gold and pink shimmering orbs. I used to be amused by them. But then I started seeing shadow like flashes that would come at me so fast a few times I actually ducked. I felt like something was trying to get my attention. Eventually they stopped. But then today was that static thing. Very strange.

MauiS..... It sounds fairly friendly.... Did you lose a loved one, human or animal, shortly before either of these occurances?

This might sound really dumb, but are you sure you aren't coming down with something? Sometimes when I am just starting to get sick I get a sensation like that and within a few hours to a few days I end up with a high fever. Also, sometimes when I take certain medications I get that feeling. Nyquil is one in particular that makes my hair stand on end which is why I never take it anymore.

Anyway, just thought I would put in my two cents.

I get the feeling that it's freindly too, but nothing has happened since last summer until this morning. I thought for sure on this board other's may have expiernced something similar.

Consider that you are sitting on in a Volcanic hotspot, geomagnetism could be the cause.

A few years back we had a major lightning storm here in New Jersey, and I was holding my three month old baby, when all the hair on my body stood up, I could feel the electrical charge in the air starting to charge particles around me, I passed the baby off to my wife and moved into another room, until the sensation passed, after some of the loudness thunder I've heard in my live and some major lightning strikes. Scary!

I'm not near Mt. Kilauea there was no storm, just clear blue skies. It was all out of the blue just for a few seconds.

I get all tingly any time the weather is nice and everything in the world seems right.

It is so nice to hear some positive experiences for a change!

Though the tickly feeling like a feather boa on your face you describe is well documented as being an attempt at some entity from a different plane at communicating, or describing the urge to communicate.

Some people describe it as being like little spider webs falling across your face. It is all positive, if you feel comfortable with it, run with it!

I have had all the hair on my body stand on end for no reason.
I have had a cool breeze blow over me, when there was no way for any breeze to be possible
my eye twitches when i am about to get some family news.

since i've never experienced anything like what you did, my only advice would be to pay attention to your daily happenings, do you get good news, bad news, good luck, bad luck, surprises, etc, etc..maybe it's sign of something to come.

nah, this was more than zapping yourself on the tv. This enveloped my entire body starting with my shoulders. I was kinda frozen in it. When it first happened I thought ah this is nice then my brain screamed not normal, not normal LOL. Then I got scared. When it happened. Perhaps if I could have just lingered in it and not ran I would have understood better. What I was affraid of was the not knowing.

I'm very sensitive, I would say to the point of empath, and it wasn't someone I was familiar with. Like I said, more like a cosmic hug, that I prolly shouldn't have been affraid of. Just that it was unknown.

LOL, Nope Jem, fit as as fiddle, but I know the sensation you are talking about. this was more like a warm fuzz that took me over. I could almost see the colors as orange and gold, lol, but like I said, I was not expecting it, had not been thinking about anything in paticulr, just dressing for the day when I got this huge body encompassing hug that I was NOT expecting. I'm sure it was nothing bad, but only wonderful. I thought in this community others may have experienced it.

When I was having my experiences last summer with the orbs and the feather boa sensation I heard from 4 or 5 others that were too... I was thinking it might be more popular.

One more thing and this may or may not make a difference. I have been waking up to the most wonderful dreams. This morning I woke up laughing. I was dreaming that I was with Matchbox 20 ( don't ask me why, I mean I like a few of their songs but make no major note of them) anyway we were in this big building that was ornate and like a combined music and lecture hall, almost heavenley... and we wanted to see this lecture but we were late, so we stood outside of these huge doors that were outlinded with gold and the finest of greek carving and they would not let us in. We looked down and the floor was this runner materail and we could jump more than 15-feet in the air so we jumped and jumped laughing hysterically and that is how I woke up. It was wonderful.

I was just reading a thread on here about signs after people pass and it reminded me of this thread.

You were right World Watcher. What this turned out to be was something warning me about my ex (who was still my best friend). He came down with leukemia and died 8/2005.

I worked in accounting back then. My calculator used to go crazy all by itself with numbers going across the screen. Some days boxes I had in my offices would move all by themselves.


I also met the love of my life that year and married him 3 years later.
