V-1s were built in large series in several and that's way there were differed appearance. The Fi 103/A1 and the Fi 103/A1 differentiated in the fashion of the front part with warhead.
There were built approximately 32.000 of the V-1 missile. In the end of the war and especially after them V-1 was copied and tested in several countries: in the U.S.A. (JB-2 of USAF and LTV-N-2 of US Navy), France (Arsenal 5501 and CT-10), Sweden (Robot 315) and the U.S.S.R. (10Ch and twin-engined D-5).

My point: "The first in the sequence of the USN's submarine based strategic missiles. LTV-N-2 Loon (a postwar development of the German 'v-1' flying bomb) "

The SSM-N-6 Regulus was actually the first submarine-launched strategic missile to be built for the US Navy. The LTV-N-2's sole contribution to future development of the SSM-N-8 was the testing the TROUNCE guidance system for the Regulus.

Notwithstanding the fact that the JB-2 was created for the USAAF by reverse-engineering a number of crashed V-1s that were retrieved by British personnel in England and brought to the US for analysis, the USAAF intended to use the JB-2 as a standoff weapon for Operation Coronet, the planned invasion of Japan. However, Japan's surrender meant that no JB-2s were ever used in combat against Japan.
