How true is the pipeline across Afganistan thing?

I don't think there is too much credence to a pipeline. Just to protect one from the locals would cost a fortune. It takes a very small charge to disrupt the flow.
Anyway where would the pipeline go ?, there isn't an oil filed for hundreds of miles.

Efforts to revive the trans-Afghanistan pipeline began soon after the U.S. incursion into that country. The pipeline from Turkmenistan to Pakistan was first discussed in the late-1990s, with a consortium led by Unocal pushing the project. Unocal backed out in 1998 after international financial institutions refused to help cover the cost of the project so long as Afghanistan was racked by armed conflict.

The pipeline is right on schedule. Now that we have weeded out the govt. that wouldn't let us in (taliban), and have inserted a pro-US corporate govt. the pipeline is back on schedule. Hmmm, could it be we let Sept. 11 happen so that
our corporations could seize the regions resources?

And I'd like to add this: Besides the US Representative to Afganistan AND the Leader of Afghanistan being former Unocal Consultants, can you name which former Unocal pay-check-cashing Lobbyist/Consultant is now US President? Oops, I gave it away, huh?

Funny how when one reviews a map of US military temp bases in Afganistan, they ALL are along the proposed pipeline route. On second thought, that's not funny at all.

After hearing Craig Hulet on Coast last night - NOVEMBER 03 2009 - I want to know more about this. Why are our men and women fighting for a rogue group of gold-collar criminals?

Bush regime members, Karzai links and much much more.

COAST SHOW WITH CRAIG HULET - BOGUS WAR BOGUS EVERYTHING!!!!!

The Taliban discouraged the heroin farmers so a windfall of
drug money helped when we liberated the farmers.
