My first response to this was "BS", but I looked up one of the references from the New Scientist article -- very interesting!!

One point of interest from the intro that should be noted:

While still far from producing a coherent image, our work provides direct evidence of the essential foundation of superlensing, and indicates the path that will enable the observation of superlensing at optical wavelengths.

HA! I knew they were going to find an application for Negative Refractivity and THIS! This is fricken HUGE! I really can't wait to see what types of Nano products this will enable in the long run.
