First off, this kind of thread belongs in the "Board Business & Questions" Forum. Second, I don't think there is anything that can be done. The common word of advice is to write your thread in a word document, notepad, etc. first, save it and then move it to ATS. That way, you will always have a backup.

Your writing doesn't exist anymore. If you don't put a subject in your new thread, it's dead, dissappears forever.

If you can, you might wanna try using the back button on your browser, but odds are you're done for. Easy come, easy go, eh?

If you think you've got an especially good, or
well written post flying from your fingers...
Open up a simple text editor, like notepad.
Type it all in there, save it. Then cut-paste it into
ATS..

Or....
What you can do is simply highlight the entire content of the post, right-click, select copy and then hit submit.

In the case that you mention, you simply could have hit the back button or create another topic, insert your TITLE/SUBJECT, then in the space provided for the content of your post, clicked in it, then right-click, and hit paste.

Wham....you would have been good to go.

I used to do this all the time when the servers were bogged down due to traffic, etc. before I went to dsl. No problem since, but I still do it at peak hours, just in case.

I always preferred the (Bush) presidential version:

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — errr, you can't get fooled again."

Hey! If it's any consolation, my post just worked without a subject...

All right, MA. That's enough.

Man, that sux, I emphasize with the OP. I've found that sometimes you can click the back button and be able to get it, not all the time but sometimes. Like Seekerof notes, it quick and easy to highlick, copy, then submit. Of course, whenever you do do this, there will be no problem, but when you don't, then it will crash.
