Is there Random and choice?

My friend brought the idea of fractals to my attention at the begining of last year. Then we studied about them a little in Geometry. I thought it was very interesting and thought I would share it with everyone.

A fractal is a graph of an imaginary function. My father was involved in the creation of the original mandelbrot program used to visually explore them. They're pretty neat... but they're even cooler if you put a color cycle on them. (make the colors cycle through the spectrum).

Are you confusing laws of structure with freedom of paths?

By this I mean, are you arguing about what choices you make or what choices are available to make? There is a big difference. Freedom of a particular path is the freedom we have, but freedom to change the laws of the universe does not seem to be within our grasp (as of yet). Therefore, it is true that some aspects are determined, but others are ours to make. That's my 2 cents.
