The murder on Olof Palme, what do you know about it?

In 1986 Swedens (my homecountrys) primeminister, Olof Palme, where murdered by an unknow assassin.

And now it�s the year 2003 and the murder is still unsolved.

But the theories is wilder than ever. PKK was blamed first, then the lonely crazy man (two of them, one was murdered in the US 1994 or 1997, the other is some kind of mediastar here...), the Italian free masons, P2, was blamed, the swedish police force, Palme took suicide or was murdered by his wife...and so on.

One of the wildest (remember this is small Sweden) theories is that Olof Palme was a homosexual drugaddict that killed himself by ordering the murder of himself from a professionall killer.

The most interesting now is that Bagdad Bob is suspected to be involved in the murder. He worked in Sweden during that period and many believes that he ordered the murders of to Iraq-enemies. Palme was a socialistic leader that got many enemies both in Iraq, Iran, Turkey and the US.

A couple of years ago an ex-agent from the CIA claimed that CIA was those who planned and executed the murder.

What do you in the US thinks about the murder of Olof Palme? Is it well known there?
