Theory On Giants

After reading through Seekerof's posts about giants, and how they were supposedly the ruling class of the Anglos on the British Isles, and that they had 6 toes and fingers and each foot and hand respectively. Well, an idea struck me soon after finishing the 3 page read. Perhaps hte amount of toes and fingers that they, the ruling class, had contains some connection as to why many English measurements (i.e. Feet= 12 inches, year= 12 months, etc...) are based on the number 12 instead of 10 (6x2=12).

I thought the Romans created the modern calendar.

oops sry ur right about the calendar.. but look at other english measurements.

im six foot six inches. do i qualify for giant status?

We currently use the georgian calendar, which is based on the roman one.

Good theory. Maybe the additional fingers was an inbred trait, like hemophilia was for the modern monarchs of Europe. And come to think of it, maybe the babylonians had six fingers too, as their mathematical system was base sixty.
