An aide to Ratzinger said yesterday he did not know why the bears were featured on the coat of arms.

"Maybe they mean something in Bavaria," he said, referring to the German state, where Munich is located. "Maybe he justs likes bears."

I read somewhere that the bear is related to St. Benedict - a story about how he used a bear to carry his luggage or something - that's why the bears were wearing backpacks...

Anyway, he kept one on his new shield and added the two Olive trees.

Those aren't olive trees.

Kinda reminds me of those aren't pillows from planes trains and automobiles.

I think it's interesting how we are already predicting the Pope's death when he hasn't even conducted his first Sunday Mass yet. I am an avid believer in the prophecy but when it comes to predicting his day of death, that is quite the feat to accompolish. When Pope Benedict XVI dies, then I will be EXTREMELY interested in St.M's prophecy.

This will die down, I assure you, they will be some interesting things coming up soon, so we will have to wait a bit for this prophecy to carry out.

I'm not sure if this prophecy is authentic or not either, however, the best proof seems to be Pope John Paul I's motto, which is "De medietate Lunae", which can mean " the average age of the moon". He died in 33 days, which is somewhat close to the average age of the moon, which would be 33.

Also, regarding John Paul II, "The prophetic motto corresponding to Pope John Paul II is De labore Solis, which literally means "Of the labor of the sun", but "labores solis" also means solar eclipse. Karol Wojtyla, who later became Pope John Paul II was born on May 18, 1920 during a a partial solar eclipse over the Indian Ocean, and buried on April 8, 2005, the day of a rare "hybrid" eclipse"

Another thing which I found extremely interesting is that regarding Petrus Romanus's part of the prophecies, "According to some sources, this was not a part of the original prophecy but was added in the early 19th Century by a publisher."

OK, for the record, the 112 Long list of Popes was a forgery!

It was a comforting alternative to the fact that the 111 long Malachi Prophecy HAS an END!

They try to say, well, there are Popes between Gloria Olivae and Petrus Romanus, well guess what, there is no Petrus Romanus! I'm not trying to say the end is near, just that the prophecy to be concerned about is the 111 Names by Malachi.

111 is a much more important Spiritual number than 112 any how.

Has anyone had a look at the Coat of ARMS? He looks ready for war, not peace! Now, I will be accused of looking too hard, when in fact, all I did was look with my eyes open, knowing full well how things are VEILED (for the glory of the "veiled One")

There are 72 elements in the red tassles, 30 tassles, 40 connecting Ms (look like Ms, for Mary, no doubt)) and 2 large top tassles. 72 and the Kabbalah have a strong correlation, and 72 doubled gives us the famous 144 from the Bible.

But in the curves of the cord, one can clearly make out 6. And then less clearly a second 6, and then, if you look, and realize it is inverted to look like a 9, you see all three. In between the two cords is the DOUBLE CROSS, hmm, what is this Pope thinking of doing exactly?

And as for the bears, they are wearing the crooked CROSS on their back for what reason??? The bear of war, that knocks over the Cross?

And the image next to it, gave me a LOT of trouble. Is it a mountain, NO! Just take a step back, and realize it is the sliouette of someone MOST SIGNIFICANT. It is the profile from BEHIND of the Veiled One,, with her veil, turning into a dress, she is standing on clouds, and has ANGELS WINGS!

The things right in front of us sometimes...

Good work on the coat of arms, but that's his "Cardinal Stemma" not the one he's adopted as Pope. If anyone can find a larger image it would be interesting to see what parts he kept and what he changed, all I can tell from this is it looks like he kept one bear, added one '??', and two trees? Or maybe they're not trees, they're starting to look like heads???

They are what looked like crowned heads on the inset to where the winged veiled person is standing with their back towards us.
These crowned heads were just placed ove the inset, that was the change.

OK< so as soon as I get a full-sized version of the NEW and IMPROVED logo of the Replacement I mean Vicar of Christ, it will be analyzed. Looks like the ropes are more intricate, but I get the feeling the tassles and Ms have stayed the same.

The veiled figure (Pagan goddess) has now got a GOLD crown, and gold light emitting, but its hard without a higher resolution to make out more than just the CROWN has been added.

The fleur de lis is probably still prominent.

Why are they making this so damn hard to find (been looking for like 40 minutes!)!

The Malachay predictions are an ancient fraud. And it wouldn't be surprising if Benedict didn't last long -- he's in ill health. However, he might last just long enough to cause a real big division in the church.

I question this. I am Catholic and know many Catholics and really, the only division I hear about is coming from non-Catholics.

The Pope must die, says Muslim

A notorious Muslim extremist told a demonstration in London yesterday that the Pope should face execution. Anjem Choudary said those who insulted Islam would be "subject to capital punishment".

"Whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment." He added: "I am here have a peaceful demonstration. But there may be people in Italy or other parts of the world who would carry that out.

Well, if the pope keeps making comments like the one he made last week it will end up being a "self-fulfilling prophecy".

It's an interesting topic.. I try not to get into particulars... But I would say, regardless of how its fulfilled (considering we don't know the circumstances of how the others were fulfilled) its fair to say, there is some truth to the prophecies... on the other hand, the murky part is what everyone involved knows about all of this, and what they actually plan on doing. IMO I'm glad he said what he did, *IF* it actually makes some head-way and allows people to enter into a meaningful dialogue. There is a major problem regarding violence, and people trying to get their ideas across with violence, this goes for anyone regardless of religeon.

In my opinion, a lot of fighting is going to happen between the fighters.
but now that theres been a road-way paved for those who are interested in dialogue, they will make progress, after-all in all religeons there have been those who like violence and those who like peace.

So its been a bit more than 4 years and 5 months since he was elected.

How much more time do you guys think he will stay in "power" until Peter comes to light?

Do you have any idea who may Peter the Roman is?

Its possible that Peter the Roman was added to the prophecy after the fact, and this might be the final Pope before the “End of the World”, according to the prophecy.

Popes, especially recently, don't tend to reign for very long - because they're decrepit old men by the time they assume the papacy.

Some things about the Malachy list of popes:

1) The first publication of the list is in A.D. 1595, by Arnold Wion, in a book called Lignum Vitae (in Latin).

2) The entries weren't numbered. The numbering only shows up in later publications.

3) Petrus Romanus is on the original list (at the end).

The Vatican has never acknowledged having the list (which isn't surprising, considering that they kept the third secret of Fatima hidden long after it was supposed to be revealed).

There is a new topic on this website. It began just 6 weeks ago, and might be more current than this and other blog topics. It is called:
St. Malachy on the current pope

Here is the URL for you to copy and paste:
