Benedict.

First of all, I put this here rather than in 'religion' because the substance of what I have to say has simple logic, but radical coincidence.

Some of you may (or may not) know that the current pope is supposed to be the third, or Supreme Antichrist.

In a (very small) nutshell, what does the Supreme Antichrist essentially do? He is convinced by the Divine Beast to manipulate the world.

Well, If you have studied the Shakespearian play, Taming of the Shrew, you will find that the leading character is named Benedict.

So what does the supreme Antichrist and Benedict (the character, not the pope) have in common?
Well Benedict is convinced by a noble named Hortensio to manipulate Katharina and her family so Hortensio can get his way with Beatrice.

In other words, Benedict & Antichrist are both convinced by a more powerful individual to manipulate a larger party as so another can get their way.

So is it really a Coincidence that the new pope (supposedly the Antichrist) chose the name BENEDICT?
I think YES! Yes it is a coincidence! lol
