Greenland can be the 51st state.
Canada can be the 52-64th states.
Each province and territory would be a state.

Provinces - Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan ... three territories: Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.

Getting Canadians to change over to private health care would be a chore. Perhaps offer both ... private health care AND some kind of government run care that people could sign up for. Medicare type insurance.

Other than that, there are no bumps in the road.

America gets great hockey and Tim Hortons, as well as an extension of the Rocky Mountains and more SPACE. What was Canada gets a good military for protection against expansionist China and Russia, a military which of course they can (and should) join.

Works for me.

I think it would be better if online influencers reminded Trump of how HIS USMCA was the greatest trade deal in the history of the World. An achievement that only HE could have done.

Surely before it works for you, it needs to work for the population of Canada and Greenland, wont there opinion be more valuable than yours? before you know they get annexed

As for changing to private health care i think Tony Soprano sums it up quite eloquently

But how would they put all those stars on the USA flag? Extend the blue down further or all the way down the side? It would look funny.

No Thanks, Thank You. I like things as they are. We're on the verge of our own Conservative renaissance. Our problems are less than in your country and our health care isn't the greatest but its still better in a lot of ways.

Your country would use my country like toilet paper and strip our resources bare like it has done to other countries.

The right would be really upset once they found out how all those states voted.

While a majority of Canada does not approve of their outgoing PM, Canada’s politics are to the left of most US democrats.

But the leadership of the Democrat party is way to the left of most Democrats. How does it compare to the leaders of the Democrat party?

The leaders of the democrats have been Neo Liberal.

They’re to the left in the wrong ways, and garner some level of centrism by adopting the wrong things in the opposite direction.

Bill Clinton had horrible trade deals that directly helped Wall Street and private equity.

Obama was Bush 2.0 and enacted Romney Care which pretty much forced Americans to consume private health care even if it didn’t make sense for them. He also bailed out the banks after they tanked the economy, and not one went to jail. Most kept their jobs and bonuses.

Biden wasn’t really in control, but the results of his admin were basically run of the mill establishment, with the exception of some annoying trans pics for positions.

The only politicians in America that would be considered the same left as Canada might be Warren and Saunders, and I don’t even know if they would be considered far left.

I myself don’t want anything far left, merely pointing out our political spectrum, and their political spectrum don’t match.

But people would soon find out when a population more than California gets integrated into the US. How do you think that would change elections?

Firstly, Canadian's would have to have a referendum to vote to become a Republic. That would remove King Charles III as Canada's Head Of State.

As it stands, Canada becoming a Republic is not an easy task.

Canada's Constitution makes it incredibly challenging for the country to end its ties with the monarchy. "I think it would be very difficult," Allan Hutchinson, a legal theorist and law professor at York University, told CTVNews.ca. "Any change in the arrangements around the Crown would require the unanimity of all provinces and the federal government. The chances of getting that are not good.

Ummm...Easy peasy...wasn't it good ole George Bush that coined the phrase..."It's just a stinking piece of paper"...

Just tear up that old Canadian constitution...and throw it on the ash heap of history...The same with the Monarchy...a good stare down from Trump will cause that effeminate Chuck the poser king to wilt like a dandelion in the desert...

It wouldn't. If anything, provinces could become states. But I wouldn't bet on it. There COULD, however, be an economic union closer than what exists today. Bear in mind that 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border. In practice, Canada already is "a part of" the US in all but name. Take the emotion out of it and that's what we have.

I don't think opinions work in cultlandia. It's the anointed one that makes the decisions now.

sounding like a one world government....

Where did I hear that before.

Then there are the Teslas

You have Uncle John Trump went through all of the documents stolen by the US gov from Nicola Tesla that were stolen from his room the minute he died. maybe they helped him die. What did Uncle Trump find?

Then you have Elon that takes the Tesla name and uses Nicola's technology, and happens to be the richest man around. Going to Mars huh? Not per Bible scripture. I saw somewhere in the Word where is broaches this subject. It describes how someone tries to build a nest in the stars and fails. I think thats Elon.

Then Damascus just fell for the first time. That is in the scripture too. my dad showed me that one perhaps 15 years ago, In fact i told people on here about a decade ago.

We are getting close to something. Is it the NEW World Order? Stay tuned folks! Same bat channel....

Absolutely their opinion matters. Hold a vote.

But no. Their opinion doesn't 'matter more'. American opinions matter just as much. And did you ever think that we might not want them to be part of us? All those nutty lefties in Canada .... We'd have to hold a vote to see if America even wants them. That's why I stated that it was fine by me ... giving my vote .... I"m okay with it.

Ummm...That would be fun...I've always wanted to live in New Zealand...

TDY...(temporary duty)...to Australia while I was in the military was one of the best times of my life...So was South Korea when I was TDY there...

I'd even love to visit the ancestral stomping grounds of Scotland and Wales...I'd prolly tour through that pisshole of England while I was there as well...just to see the zoo...and to crash at Ole Carpy's...and share a pint or three...

I really have enjoyed all the...ahem...affectionate banter over the years...I think it really would be fun to visit your...quaint lil isles of charm...

I'd be more than pleased to show you round the delights of North East England, I'm sure it'd be a bit of an eye opener for you.
Once away from Middle England these Islands, whilst being stunningly beautiful, are hardly quaint and charming.....of that I can assure you.

It'd be good to dispel some of those nonsensical, stereotyped myths you seem so keen to believe.

One day you guys will see the light and return to the family fold.
