Mamlambo Fossils is a New Zealand based amateur fossil hunter who is rather good at opening time capsules or rocks to the rest of us , here's 2.5 minutes time lapse of him fully extricating a 12 million year old crab from its rocky tomb.

If like me you find that cool there are many other cool find videos on Mamlambo's channel.

Disappointed, but relieved.

I did not want to start off the new year with a Jurassic Crabdemic.

Reminds me of an old joke.

"This crab paste tastes horrible. Where'd you get it"?

"The pharmacy...."
