So, the owner of the home depicted as Walter White's home in the show 'Breaking Bad' in Albuquerque, NM has had enough. She can't handle all the looky-loo's driving by at all hours, some even throwing pizza on her roof (which I thought was hilarious! Can you imagine some stranger driving by and throwing a pizza pie on your roof??? LOL!). She's had enough! But has she really?

So she's allegedly despondent over the constant traffic coming to see the famed residence, but she did after all agree to let the film studio use her home as the setting for Walter White's home. And she did enjoy all the money she got from the show as well as, in her words, to "enjoy the magic of Hollywood". But now she's "had enough". She's getting out! She's selling the joint.

But has she really had enough? Well, apparently not...

You see, houses in the neighborhood sell for a median price of around $400,000, and this poor soul who is just fed up to "here" (holds hand to forehead) with it is selling the house for the unbelievably low price of...wait for it...$4,000,000, yes, four MILLION dollars! What a bargain, right? Hey, it's only 10x more than every other house in the 'hood, but where else can you buy a house where people throw pizza pies on your garage roof???

Seems to me she's not fed up as much as cashing in, but hey, what do I know?

LOL!

One of the great scenes in Breaking Bad was the pizza scene, and one of the things I loved about the show was how they left the pizza up there for several episodes! LOL! Heck, I used to turn into the show as much to see if the pizza would still be up on the roof as to watch the show itself!

If I was the owner of that home, I'd have had one of those fake pizza's made up and screwed that sucker down to the garage roof a long time ago! At least it would have saved having to climb up on the roof 3x per week and clean off all the pies.

I say, "Atta girl!"
She has the true, modern American spirit.
(And who else in America would not want top, if unrealistic, dollar for anything that they own?)

My dentist used to have the same one. I loved his Grand Wagoneer. The funny thing is he lived in Beverly Hills, MI

In the voice of Dr. Smith, "Oh, the fame. The fame."

She should have known how things might have worked out if the show became as popular as it was.

That house acted very well in every scene it was in. I think she might be jealous.

It was a pleasure and an honor to work on that series. Thru the residuals, many people are still benefiting from that show.

It's all over now Baby Blue....

The story of Badfinger is even worse.
Both lead singers committed suicide.

I'd say you qualify to be part of the ATS Michigan Clan.
I never made a list, but Michigan has way a lot of ATS members these last few years.

I lived there for a few years, like three times. I like Michigan; it's a nice place (except the governor, but that's another post). Michigan is a fun place. My wife liked it, and we had fun there. We lived in some really nice places on the lake(s), like right on the lakes, which was nice. We dealt with a lot of crazy stuff, especially our first place on Lake St. Claire. Right next to our place was a helo pad where they used to pull people off the ice in spring. Those big helos coming overhead day and night were a problem...they'd rattle stuff off your shelves.

Our boat froze-up in the marina one day, and it never warmed up enough to get it out. We spent months chopping that boat out of the ice so it didn't sink (and we'd have to pay all the CG fines). It was a 25 foot sportfish, and there was another boat, a 48' Viking sportfish, in our same predicament across the marina. We spent months working day an night to keep those two boats form sinking.

LOL...I have pictures of guys ice fishing right off the back of our boat and across the slip from the 48' Viking. Even more pictures of us chopping ice (which we did daily) to keep our boat afloat.

Note: It's one thing to have ice which moves hourly, but it's a whole other thing to have ice which just continually compresses, hour after hour, for days on end. Lake ice is way worse than sea ice.
