Covid....... Again.

Well, my Wife has Covid. Again. This is the 2nd [ 3rd ? ] time.

Here's the part that just pisses me off.

My Wife is an R.N. and back when it all started, she had to get vaxxed for work and at that time No vax = No work. She is double vaxxed.

About 2 weeks ago she got her flu shot.

Monday she said she felt a little rough. Stuffy nose, headache etc but not too bad. This morning, it had went way past "not too bad" to the point I took her out to the local clinic and was contemplating the E.R. Honestly, if she feels as bad as she looked, she must be in hell.

Here's what bugs me. I never took the Covid vaccine, I've never even had a flu shot and I think my last tetanus was 20 years ago, so how come I'm not sick ?

Someone will say "Viral load on contact" . Well every time she's gotten sick, I'm in the same house, same room, hell we share a bed and I give her a kiss goodnight and I'm still not sick.

If those vaccines we're so great, why is my Wife sick and I'm just fine ?

I never get sick either. I blame it on the gummy bears, strawberry flavored tincture and joy bombs. Mother Nature knows best!!!

Get ready for the pro-vaxx standard: "You have a stronger immune system thanyour wife".

My friend that is twice vaxxed has had Covid 4 or 5 times now. Each episode seems to be hitting harder than the last, nd this time she developed a case of laryngitis that has lasted for three weeks now. I hope that's all it is.....

peoples habits or ticks are more responsible for why they get sick then anything else
I wash my hand regularly and actively avoid touchin my face. Not because I am paranoid of getting sick but it was a habit a developed when I had bad acne as a teen. Keeping a clean face without grease and contamination from the hands can really help worth acne.the under lying cause is hormonal however bacteria can a do infect and exacerbate the problem.

It’s my belief that I get sick less than my wife who teaches in middle school because I spread less things to my face and by extension my mouth and eyes because I actively avoid my face out of habit and wash my hands. She applies make up and contacts and what have you she has more points of contact just by how she lives her life.


But also I can’t really explain why if/when she is sick and we kiss/fool around why I almost never get sick.

Sorry to read your wife had to have the jab fella.
I can only give my own anecdotal story, but all my friends and family who fell for the vaccine propaganda, have had multiple infections since, as well as every other random coughs and colds which happens to be doing the rounds.

All my friends who remained unvaccinated for covid, rarely catch any colds, and have only ever been tested positive once for covid, when they beat it naturally.

I trust my lived experience much much more than any 'government advice' 😢

What if you were around as many people that needed healthcare as your wife? Shadow her at work for a month or two and see what happens. It would be an interesting exercise.

Added. It’s kind of like saying my wife is a fire fighter. And I don’t understand why she gets smoke inhalation and I don’t as a lawyer.

That still doesn't explain why, if she is vaccinated, she keeps getting sick and I don't. It also doesn't explain why I am around someone with Covid, share a bed with that person every time she's had it and still am not sick.

I am covid shot free.

Had it twice, second time was bad...Pneumonia with 104 temp... as soon as the ER doc found out I wasn't vaccinated, his whole attitude changed and he never came back,,, the nurses sent me home.

I have family members who are multi vaccinated.....they all have had covid many times.

Maybe your wife believed she would not catch Covid if she got vaccinated, as our nation's leaders promised.
